The media could not be loaded. If your Fob still works and just is worn, ( or the hoop that holds on to your key chain is broken - like mine) this is a great! I originally ordered a (very misleading) fob that would have to be reprogrammed- I quickly figured out that this was easier said then done ( after many google searches) and a lot more $$$ ( was not stated on ad that you would have to take to dealer for programming)returned those ( thanks for making it easy Amazon) and just happened to run across “shell” case! My 90 year old mechanically inclined dad helped me take it apart, and re assemble ( no instructions- ( we did try YouTube) so that would be nice to have a step by step ) a little tricky getting it open ( I didn’t want to crack) - such a perfect match, my dad was even able to reattach the original GMC back! My dad was impressed, so we ordered him the Cadillac shell to replace his very worn out FOB ! Just when ordering, make sure you order the exact same one!

Cadillac XT5. Perfect fit. Not made with plastic chrome edge, metal same as original. My old key fit in new case just right. Good job. Will buy again as original from GM is junk.

I used the original back in order to keep the Cadillac logo. They fit together perfectly. (CT6 remote)
