I bought the Lusee Clock Mechanisms for a slate, personalised kitchen clock after the original mechanism broke. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked and how easy it was to install. The clock is back to ticking perfectly, and it's been keeping accurate time ever since.The mechanism is definitely good value for money. It feels sturdy and reliable, and I appreciate that it came with clear instructions. However, I do have one small gripe: I would have liked the option to choose a silver tone. The available gold and black options don’t quite match my preferences. The gold stands out too much against the dark slate, while the black blends in a bit too much.Despite this, the mechanism itself is excellent, and it does the job well. If they offered a silver option, it would be perfect. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a clock mechanism replacement.

These clock mechanisms work really well and are very easy to fit. It saved me throwing two of our wall clocks away because their mechanisms had stopped working. I much prefer repairing them than throwing away.

Once the mechanism was fitted and the non alkaline battery inserted, it worked very well and is still running a few days later. Make sure that you fit the correct hands for the size of your clock face, as I initially chose a set that was too long and heavy and the clock kept stopping every half hour.

Update - credit to the company after my review they reached out and offered a refund .which is great service .They first looked to be well made however when I came to use them I noticed no cover for the battery compartment which is a concern as it says suitable for garden clock so I’m not sure about rain water getting into it and 1 of the 2 packs is damaged where you put in the hands .
