I have Hanging Planters Again!
I haven't had hanging planters in years because of the sparrows building nests and defending "their" territory on our patio. This year I again attempted to avoid dive bombing birds and enjoy the peace of sitting outside. I clipped a few of these faux birds to the leaves on each of my faux hanging plants. I made sure to place the most colorful of my fake birds most visibly on the top, as I assume the most colorful would be viewed as the males. It was amusing to watch the birds that had previously been shushed way, circle, challenge the faux birds, dive at the planter and finally give up because they couldn't get them to leave the plant! I have enjoyed my front porch and back patio all spring and summer with a peaceful view of colorful hanging plants. The clips are sturdy and even with strong winds the birds have stayed on the plant. The color has remained bright and the size makes them look very real, especially when the wind is blowing. I'm debating taking them off during the winter to save on wear and tear and put them back in the spring...EARLY!

Small and cute little Christmas tree birds
I bought this set to decorate my mom’s Christmas tree. These little decorations are about 3 to 3 1/2 inches long total so they are not very big. But they are perfect if you are using a petite Christmas tree. They are very subtle and look elegant.

They are not as cute in real life
The ones in the picture look like proper birds. The ones I received look a little more stupid. I kept them, but they aren't as good looking irl. Kind of like when someone uses a Snapchat for all their pics on social media but in real life they look a bit more goblin-esque? Like that, but birds.
