Time Pieces for Descant/Soprano Recorder, Volume 1 (Time Pieces (ABRSM))

This is volume 1 of a two volume set of pieces for Grades 1-5. However it is a thin book and it would have been nice if they saved poor parents money by combining into just one volume at the same price. No mystery why music education is so elitist - the cost of the lessons is expensive and so are all the books you have to buy. You'll spend over £50 to buy the recorder and all the books for just Grade 1, and then lessons are ~£100 per term.A plus point, there is a pull-out section which contains the pieces with piano accompaniment which you can be used by your teacher, examiner or anyone else who wants to accompany you.

I really love this little book with its well chosen interesting pieces. It's very well put together as a collection and I must have book 2 as soon as possible.

Good book but didn’t need it as I brought the wrong stage.Return was done promptly.

This book covers the first three grades with pull out piano accompaniment, required for my daughter's recorder examinations.
