Q: Can This Be used for marine aquariums?

States suitable for all Freshwater Aquariums so I don't believe it is suitable for marine

Q: Does this help stop brown algae?

No. It aids your filtration system after clean ups and water changes.

Q: I added it to the water but realise now should add to filter, can i do a second dose the day after?

It shouldn’t really matter as it would soon be pumped around the tank best put all in anyway if your starting a new tank once cycled start of very slowly as it 6 to 12 months to fully cycle an aquarium add clean up crew first

Q: Do I need to add a couple of fish as well to help maintain the bacteria I'm putting in please?

There are 2 or 3 options when using this you need ammonia in the water for the good bacteria to feed on. So you could put some very hardy fish in there to produce waste as in there poo and pee which would create Ammonia for your bacteria to feed on or you could put a few flakes of food in the water which would break down and create Ammonia or thirdly you could put pure Ammonia in the water which the good bacteria would feed on. I normally just put a bit of food in the water its the best way of starting the cycle without the risk of harming any of your fish. You could also look at Prime conditioner and Prime stability make sure you test the water often it still takes time even when using this product be patient good luck.

Fishes in my tank are healthy and I don’t really need to change water regularly after applying the bacteria which will dissolve the toxic nitrate generated.
