Great value for money
Started giving me very light faint positive results 5 days before missed period, I feel like these are very useful

I found these tests to be superior to the fancy solidly plasticised ones you can buy ...
I found these tests to be superior to the fancy solidly plasticised ones you can buy as other brands from shops. For starters, there's the price. So much cheaper that doing a second test to check, didn't feel like I was at risk of breaking the bank. It meant I was also confident enough to *practice* using them, just to make sure - I used 3 first time, to check I was doing it right. I even considered getting my husband to use one, as a control. I also considered doing one in water for the same reason - with so many tests, it didn't really matter. They were delivered quickly and the packet provided some very useful information that wasn't on any of the bigger brands I could buy in the shops. Things like 'let your urine get to room temperature, and the test stick too, before you test' and other bits that I think should be on the more expensive tests as I find it hard to believe they're not doing very similar things. These tests seem in many ways *more* professional than the fancy ones with crosses and lines and all that. They're really simple. The instructions are more detailed and clear. You have enough to play around with if you think you've messed up. There's the fact that you're also not having to try to control your pee *and* your hand so as not to accidentally splash or spray urine onto the wrong part of the test. Then there's the nice familiarity that if you remember doing chromatography in science at school, you'll realise quickly how these tests actually work.I found it so much easier, to pee in a glass anyway. Bit of toilet paper ready to put it down on the floor I'd just pick it up with some fresh, put it on the side of the sink, and wait awhile. I'd leave the test there too, in it's package, go off and do something else for 10 mins, come back, and then do the test. Having so many tests to spare I also did things like retest the same urine a few hours later, just out of curiosity - still got the same result.I appreciated other reviewers that pointed out the double line if pregnant gets more visible. I was actually testing at 3 weeks old. I think I probably could have tested earlier with these though, and still got a positive result. Technically I tested after my period was due, but I still think it could have picked it up earlier than when I was 10 days late.Unfortunately for me though... my pregnancy turned into a complete nightmare. I got Hyperemesis gravidarum *and* a few other complications like bleeding, and in the end even just 5 weeks in, it was starting to put my life (let alone the foetus' development and health) at risk. Week 6, I had to have an abortion. Reason why I'm writing this is just to warn folks that buy things like this on the internet that if you suffer something like a miscarriage (very common: 1 in 5), or a pregnancy that goes molar, or turns out to be falopian, or you suffer as I did and ultimately either way you end up not pregnant and with no baby to show for your ordeal either... that the internet doesn't know what happened to you, and therefore won't stop and think "I won't pester this person for a review about something that's going to reduce her to tears" like a human being might. So I'm writing this, when I only had my abortion a little over a week ago. I'm not going to lie: seeing Amazon prompting me for a review of this product in an email that landed in my inbox this morning, *hurt*. Nearly brought on a river of tears. Just... bear that in mind. There's no guarantees once pregnant things will turn out wonderful... so: If something like being prompted to review a pregnancy test you bought on Amazon the week after you miscarry or have an abortion is something that may reduce you to a blubbery mess for about 4 days... you might want to stick to buying things in the shops. At least then, you can face *people* in your own time.

Very disappointed, NOT 10mUI!
These were extremely disappointing! I only give it one star because it had a lot of dye. Other than that it's horrible. I had good hope for them because the control line was REALLY dark unlike a previous batch of tests I bought on amazon where the control line looked like a faint positive. But as it turns out, these tests are horrible. They say 10mUI on every package, which would mean you take take it 6 days earlier than regular, less sensitive tests, but that is not true at all.I saw an extremely faint line on it at 12dpo (well past the 6 days before), and decided to test again the next day because I thought I was imagining it and after a few minutes it disappeared. So at 13dpo I see a line slightly darker but still barely noticeable. Just enough to make me realize I was not imagining it. So I decided to try 2 brands of less sensitive tests I had leftover from previous cycles. One is a 4 days before type (so less sensitive) and the other is a cheap regular test from Action. Both of these less sensitive tests gave me a much darker line. Still light obviously, but much more visible. And they did not disappear. Then today I tested again to see if the line was getting darker. Figured it would be okay to use these alleged 10mUI test again because for sure it would be getting darker. There was a barely noticeable line so I didn't even wait the full 5 minutes and tested with the 4 days earlier test (all using the same sample of urine, obviously). I got a line is much darker than yesterday, almost twice as dark. Went to check the 10mUI test again and the line is completely gone. You can't see it at all. I'm glad I had the other tests and didn't see the disappearing line before I confirmed the result with them, or I'd be really freaked out that I was no longer pregnant which would be really upsetting after trying for over2 years with not a single positive this whole time.I don't know if I got a defective batch or what, but I'm never buying tests on Amazon.uk ever again. Yes, they are extremely cheap, but twice from different sellers I had questionable tests. Had I purchased from the same place as my less sensitive tests (which also offer a 10mUI version) I would probably have gotten a positive at 10dpo or even earlier, which is the whole point of these extra sensitive tests. The ovulation tests from the same brand seem fine, even thought I never got a line exactly as dark as the control, it was close enough. But the pregnancy ones are a joke.If anyone is interested, lot number is 20151227, expiration date Dec 26, 2018.UPDATE: I'm now over 10 weeks pregnant and decided to take another one of these tests because I still had a couple left, so why not? I was expecting to get a VERY dark line because it's been weeks since my first positive. Even a crappy test would show a very dark line by now because I have been getting dark lines since 5 weeks. Well, the line barely changed at all from the last time I used it many weeks ago. It's only about 50% as dark as the control. It should be extremely dark by now. Something is really wrong with this test. For comparison, the ovulation version gives me an off the charts dark line. As in, as soon as it touches the urine, an extremely dark line shows up and steals most of the dye from the control line. I think it's pretty ridiculous that the ovulation test seems more reliable and sensitive as a pregnancy test than the actual pregnancy test.

Definitely early detection
These are great, definitely early detection. Picked up my pregnancy at 10DPO and it was in the afternoon! At 15DPO it picked it up with a dribble. I’ve bought these twice now and not had a single dud. Don’t waste your money on other brands at £8 a plastic stick! Mine came with instructions, packaging is a ziplock bag.

Good!
The instructions were clear and simple, making the process stress-free. What stood out to me was how quickly the results appeared – within just a few minutes, I had a clear and easy-to-read answer. The test is also highly sensitive, detecting pregnancy hormones earlier than many other tests on the market. This gave me peace of mind and allowed me to plan accordingly.I appreciate the thoughtful design of the test, which is both hygienic and user-friendly. If you're looking for an early pregnancy test that is accurate, reliable, and easy to use, I highly recommend the FirstVue Early Pregnancy Test. It provided me with the clarity I needed during a potentially anxious time.
