The flea tablets are more effective for killing all fleas on the cats quickly. Whereas the spot-on treatment helps to reduce and manage infestation of the home.I found this product effective on 1 of 8 rescues. It took 5 days to see improvement on my tabby, and she hasn't picked anything up in a week. But it caused local irritation and excessive itching when applied. I'd say it's more of a repellent, then.Still, the other 7 only have 5 fleas a day on average. So with regular treatment at home, manual combing and flea baths, this product is effective. Just not as effective as the tablets.More affordable than the vets, no nasty smells or violent reactions from the cats. Would monitor application sites for irritation and scratching.

Bob Martin always does the trick , I stopped using it for a while and swapped to another brand bought on here , biggest mistake as I ended up with fleas on my cats and dogs .. I did find my four cats reacted slightly differently to the tablet , on my one cat she started scratching and biting right away , within twenty mins the dead fleas were falling off her ! Next day no more irritation , basically worked the same way on my other cats though they did bite and scratch for longer before the dead fleas abandoned ship , following day no sign of fleas or irritation on my cats . I also buy Bob Martin wormer for them and flea tablets/ wormer for my dogs . This product does work . I have it on subscribe to save money

Dont think the cat had fleas, when i bought this, still doesnt, do know if that means it works.2 weeks after application I found a tick on the cat, but it looked small and was easily removed.So again its efficacy is difficult to assess.It was easy to apply, but thats cause the cat in question is so lazy, I could spray paint it and it wouldnt move.Use the unopened tip of the applicator to scratch your cat behind the ears, by the time the noticed youve open it, your done.

ive had my cat for over 3 years now and ive always got Frontline for the flee control..but basically ive ordered this product( bob martin) twice now and you would think it would do exactly what it says on the packet.. basically i put bob martin on my cat and after few days of using it my cat was itching n scratching everywere and i was confused, so i put another tube few days after thinking that it might of come off due to rain or shes been somewhere wet but again i tried it and the samething happened few days later, she was itching again which was really wierd.. so i went to the local vet to get her checked and told them exactly whats been happening n what i use for flee control... They said bob martin is rubbish.. it does not work at all, it might work for few hours but controlling the cat flees for weeks is out of the question n they recommended it that i dont buy it ever again.. waste of time n money.. and they were right.. i even read there reviews and it said the same, i even went online typing bob martin vs frontline on google search engine n the vet was right.. every1 thats used this product was very pissed off n didnt have any positive feedback at all... its jus cheap n cheerful for those who dont want to spend any money on flee control but bob martin product is also dangerous for the cats health as it said on the reviews, its not good for the lungs for the cat.. i recommend to any1 buying this product to think again.. if u care about ur cat coz i was very dissapointed i hate company that try to con ppl jus for few measley pounds.. bob martin u guys make me sik.. never will i buy ur products again, and to make ppl aware ive made a facebook page on it and the whole of facebook world agrees... Now thats saying something..think long n hard people who have cats about this product.. coz it does not work at all...

I followed the instructions and the only thing that it did was make her itched less and have some of the fleas jump off of our cat but the cat was still covered in fleas. I even added FrontLine and the issue still persisted.
