Vendor saves the day!!
I am giving the chair 5 stars but because the vendor (Well-Spring) is very good. Overall, the chair is comfortable and large. It is, for the most part, a good value. I did have an issue with it in that that the chair broke at the brace that supports the back. Picture included. Since the chair is only a couple of months old, I was surprised it broke. I e-mailed the vendor with the attached picture and they contacted the manufacturer who sent a replacement bracket for the chair. The chair is working again and I am happy.Like any product of this nature, you can receive one that is broken or breaks. What was important to me, is the Well-Spring took action and replaced the broken part. Their customer service is excellent and I would not hesitate to do business again.

Chair was super easy to put together
Chair was super easy to put together, came well packed and in good shape. After sitting it in I immediately felt a level of comfort my old chair did not provide. Having said that, this chair came with (for me) a pretty strong funk chemical smell. I am very sensitive to those smells, even windex sprayed in a confined are can effect me. So, if you are very sensitive like me this chair will take a week at least to de-gas. It took that long for me. I really wanted to love this chair, but ended up deducting one start just for the smell which was my only complaint. Otherwise you can't do better.

Poor Quality and Not Comfortable
This chair is not comfortable - Not enough padding. Also, very low quality. The hydraulic cylinder took out after a couple of months. The back began to bend backwards and the chair developed a lean to one side. There are better options.

Ok for a few months
So far after a couple months of just sitting in it, the crap particle board on the seat portion is breaking. Other than all the screws not fitting for the arm holes and the seat snapping after a couple months. Pretty disappointing. Im 280 lb so this is pretty bad

As advertised
No complaints. I've been using it for a few months now. Comfy, wide enough that I can sit Indian style without my legs hitting the arm rests (I'm 6' 200lbs), and it hasn't fallen apart. Good for the money.

Chair is firm and Comfortable. I like the high back on it. Fan of the arms that fold up and down. Rolls easy and adjustment is very simplistic. Only thing I don't like is when you lock it to not rock back, it has about and inch of slop before stopping but most every chair does.

Very comfortable chair. Only few months old. Hope it holds up. Love the up folding arm rest feature. And the over sized piston

Love the large base
Love the large base, design, and comfort of the chair, but the cylinder has already failed and it won't stay in the top position for more than an hour or two, then you start to sink lower and lower. Very annoying to keep readjusting.
