I got this set for my husband for his birthday, and he is obsessed! He is an avid chess player and has always wanted a really nice chess set, and I loved the idea of having a beautiful set as functional decor. I searched for the perfect set for a long time across many different selling platforms, and this set satisfied every requirement! Every single piece looks really nice (a lot of handcrafted sets have weird looking knights or strange bishops or something else just not quite right about them). It is stunning marble and perfectly weighted. It came with plenty of foam to attach to the bottom of the pieces so the board doesn't get scratched. It's the perfect size. All around, just a really fantastic set. My husband is over the moon about finally having his dream set on display, I can play with him more frequently to better learn the game, and I often find him just arranging the pieces practicing different openings and defenses by himself. It really is an amazing gift for any chess lover!

We got my dad a chess set for Christmas and it was absolutely stunning. One of the knights broke and when I reached out to Radicaln’s customer service I was greeted with kindness and the happily replaced the part at no charge. And not only did they replace the one part they sent 4 new pieces in case another one broke. They were easy to work with and we received our replacement pieces quickly too!

Recognizing that you’re buying a handmade product and there will be variations and natural defects (so it may not look exactly like the photos), I am ultimately very happy with my purchase. There was a crack in one of the rooks and I reached out to customer service. They emailed back within a few hours and sent out a new piece at no cost. They were outstanding and went out of their way to respond to issues. While I think this is the type of product that it would be ideal to see in a physical store and pick the one that you like best, I am happy with my purchase. I had held back on buying it for a while given $200 (with tax) is a lot more than my other sets (I have two wooden sets and a two triple weighted us chess federation sets) but I like the weight and feel of the marble. This is my nicest set and the one I prefer to use in the end. Would buy again.

Absolutely beautiful chess board and pieces. The quality, the weight and the look were exactly what I was looking for. So much fun to play with this set and nice to get something high quality from this site.

My family loves this chess board. Pieces are made very well of heavy marble. Comes with the protective felt to add to bottom of pieces to avoid scratching. It’s been a nice decorative and usable board.

This was a high school graduation gift for my son he loves it. Great quality. Heavy pieces. Be sure to order a carrying case.
