Firm favourite with my 2.5 year old
The media could not be loaded. As stated, this product isn’t suitable for under 3’s; however, I’ve used this with my 2.5 year old under my strict supervision and he absolutely loves it.The foam/sand comes in clear, resealable bags. It is sticky to touch but not so much that it sticks to you. We’ve played with this a few times and up to now it’s showing no sign of drying out. There are multiple tools provided to help roll it out, cut it & shape it etc. It’s actually quite therapeutic.Really good value for money for what’s included.Unsure if you can buy additional sand/foam bags but will definitely have a look to expand the collection.

Great fun sensory toy.
A nice, varied set that contains different colours and tools for soft playfoam sand. I got this for my youngest son who is autistic as part of his sensory play, and he’s been loving it so far. It comes neatly packed in a nice presentable packaging suitable for gifting. It's available on Amazon for £22 (at the time of writing). His favourite tool in this is the double sided stamp, and he made some pizza and then offered me some pizza slices made of different coloured sand.Personally, I quite like that this sand doesn’t fall apart like regular sand as that would be a hassle to clean.Be aware that once it has been used, the colours get mixed up. However, it's the same thing with any soft and pliable sensory activity the same as play dough. But my son still plays with it afterwards, so not an issue for me.All in all, my son had loads of fun with this and the quality of the tools and general presentation leads me to give this a recommendation.

Fun to mold, shape and play with
Comes in a really bright and colourful box. Inside you get 3 coloured bags of playfoam sand and 5 tools to play and mold with. The playfoam sand is a cross between playdoh and sand. Not dry and not wet, its great to mold and shape. Soft and smooth, not sharp and grainy like normal sand. Fun to touch, form and play with. The sand doesn't dry out which means endless play. Each bag it comes in is resealable, so handy to store it back in. Nice bright and vibrant colours, pink, blue and green. The tools are all plastic and a good size to grasp, hold and use. You get a scissors scooper with extra mold, double sided roller and shovel, sand cutter and 2 sand design stamps. Easy to clean up, not sticking to everything and finding it for days later, which is always a plus point for any parent. Ment to be for children 3 and above, my 2 year old really enjoyed playing with it with me, exploring with all the different tools and getting really hands on, feeling something with an unusual texture. A fun set to let children play, get creative and enjoy.

Popular toy
I hadn't come across sensory sand before but the 4-y-o knew exactly what it was and what she could do with it, because they have it at school. It keeps her amused for quite some time and it isn't too messy, especially if you have a cloth on the table.

Perfect for little children
This set was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it's not lacking quality or imagination.I liked that the choice of sand colours matched the colours of the tools that came with it. The blue green and pink are very vibrant and fun to play with. The sand can be easily rolled and molded into shapes. The tools enclosed are a good choice, one tool can be used to roll the sand, while the other end of it there is a little shovel to dig. There is a patterned wheel on another with a patterned handle to make impressions in the sand. The wheel head can be interchanged for another pattern. There is a pair of crimping scissors and some sort of egg cup type stamps. This is perfect for little hands to use and explore.

Brilliant idea for kids.
Great for gross motor skills. Getting them used to different textures too and manipulating sand and tools.

Great fun, if a tad overpriced
Well this is fun, if a little messy! It feels like Play-Doh but with the strength of sand, and sticks together well when moulding. You get a stamp, roller, spoon, scissors and two different heads for pressing shapes, although it can make a fair amount of mess if you are using it indoors. It’s actually easy to pick up all the loose bits from the carpet although it hasn’t been tested under the conditions of being trod on! It’s like kinetic sand but less sandy? Kind of a cross between kinetic sand and Play-Doh which doesn’t leave your hands messy. I would give it five stars except for the fact that at £22 I would want more than the three packs of sand that are included. They are not the biggest so I have given this four stars as there is fun to be had here, particularly for young enquiring minds, but a couple more packs of sand wouldn’t go amiss.
