Overall Review_______________________________________I purchased this item for myself. I am a 30 something year old who's work requires I usually stand at my desk and pour over reports and the like. The thing is my hands constantly want to stay moving and my brain wants to be engaged. My mind wonders and my hands fidget. I am not saying this toy is a cure all for those issues but it sure is a relief to have. I can toy with it in one hand and work with the other. It is a little awkward in ones pocket but it looks fine sitting on my desk among the clutter of post it notes. My son loves to play with it as well when I bring it home. We both really get a lot of joy just idling playing with it while we watch TV or read.What stands out about the product_____________________The thing is, it is just engaging enough to hold your attention but not so much that it requires actively processing what you are doing. You can fiddle with this and 100% follow a TV show. Your hands learn the pattern and then you can do this and easily read with a high degree of retention. I really enjoyed the weight of the puzzle as I tumble it over and over again in my hand. It is very satisfying to fidget with.Quality Rating_________________________________________I didn't give this product a full five stars on durability and sturdiness, but 4. There is no issue with how the product was put together, its good for its price-point. As I mentioned it has good weight and for idle fiddling it is perfect. It is just not something I trust my son to play with for long at the age of 8. They joints are a little loose and the plastic may or may not handle a child cranking on them or playing with it in a fashion that it was not designed for. That is a materials issue and not really a quality issue. Just something to be mindful about if you have little ones.
