Idk why maybelline kind of gets the reputation as the best in drugstore mascaras, or at least it seems that way. I have been interested in makeup since I was a kid and was a teenager during the YouTube makeup craze so I have tried a LOT of mascara. No brand, high end or drugstore, is as good as L’Oréal. I have used L’Oréal voluminous mascara since I was in high school, and recently wanted a TRUE brown mascara and was recommended this one. It’s also amazing!Pro tip-when your mascara is brand new, as you pull the wand out of the tube, drag the side of the wand on the inside of the tube so it wipes the product off. Then once the wand is out, wipe the excess product on the very end of the wand into the bottle. Then use the side of the brush that you dragged along the inside of the tube, the side with the least amount of product. The one criticism id give L’Oréal on all their mascaras is that the product is so wet when it’s new, so it can make it really easy to get too much product on your lashes and not have enough dry-ish bristles to fix it. Once you’ve used it for a few days though it will be AMAZING and you wont have to do those steps. Honestly it’s kind of like the more it dries out the better the product gets. Obviously it eventually gets TOO dry or too empty.

I LOVE this mascara! I used to be a black mascara girly but I just recently switched to brown and am loving it! I ordered this in the shade “Latte Brown”, and while you can’t notice a huge difference in coloring compared to the black, I do find that it looks more natural and cohesive with my pale skin tone. This mascara also makes my lashes super long without giving off the “Spider Lashes” look. Would recommend this, especially in the brown shade!

I’ve been using this mascara for over 10 years, and it continues to deliver every single time. It gives my lashes the perfect boost — length and volume — without clumping or flaking. The formula is consistent (which is rare these days!) and one tube lasts a long time, even with daily use.A little goes a long way, so you don’t need to pile it on to see a big difference. That said, just be mindful to wipe off any excess from the brush before applying — otherwise, it can get a bit messy. But once you get the hang of that, it’s smooth sailing.If you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting mascara that makes your lashes pop without overdoing it, this one is a must. I’ve tried others over the years, but I always come back to this one. It’s just that good.

I have used L'Oreal Voluminous for many years. I am now 77 years old and find it no longer works for me. This is my first time trying L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. It is fantastic, really,the brown is soft but still bold enough to make a lovely difference to thin lashes. At the end of the day my lashes are soft, not hard and irritating. I use baby wipes to remove my make up nightly, Paradise comes off so easily. I am thrilled. Thank you for this wonderful product.

I am tempted to believe that I just got an old batch of the product ☹️ I used to wear this mascara back in the day and was obsessed with it. I’ve been wearing tubing mascara (Thrive Causemetics) for a few years now, which I love. But I had a photoshoot coming up and I wanted a more dramatic lash look for that, and needed product fast, so I got this.The product felt way too dry. It was hard to even coat my lashes at all. And it was almost too “light” to hold my lashes in the curled position. Thankfully, it’s a cheap product, so I’m not as disappointed as I would’ve been if this were $$$$. But I’m disappointed, nonetheless, that I didn’t get the look I was hoping for.The photos shows what my lashes *can* look like, with the right product (me in the button down shirt), vs what my lashes looked like that day for the photo shoot (me in the off-the-shoulder shirt)

This is truly BROWN mascara, not dark brown, not black brown. It is exactly what I wanted. It is not waterproof - I didn’t want waterproof- but it stays put, doesn’t flake or irritate my sensitive eyes. It washes off easily with my mild face wash. I’m very happy with this product and will reorder.

I was looking for a mascara that wouldn’t smudge and last all day. This product does just that and adds great volume & length to your lashes, plus has a good price point
