I am all about DIY, so using a wet & dry vacuum I tried to make my own dust extraction device for my carpentry workshop power tools and soon discovered that a large plastic dustbin & lid were just not airtight enough for the job.This purchase is a heavy duty plastic container and lid with a metal ratchet strap, which has provided me with the perfect container to catch my sawdust waste, I am able to insert a plastic bin liner inside for easier emptying, without losing the necessary vacuum seal, I believe that it would be perfect for storing or moving liquids and solids alike and is robust enough to withstand shipping.

bought to use with a cyclone attachment for grinding out old mortar with my 115 makita grinder. powered by the old faithful Henry vac. works perfectly great purchase saves hundreds of pounds for a site extraction dust unit.

Its the second barrel we bought. Using it for home brewing. Does the job perfectly. Perfectly airtight.

Very good to store and keep dry the bird seed, only thing difficult is the lid gets stuck and hard to pull off for some reason

It's been a year now since I bought it. I used it last autumn for pickel cabbage. It stayed perfectly fine, the lid was sealed.

The barrel is of a very good quality. However, the size i expected to purchase for £31.99 was a standard food keg barrel. Unfortunately, 60 litre was a size from my toes to my knees. I was extremely disappointed with the size. I am now £31.99 out of pocket. I will advice any one buying these barrels to know the right size in order to avoid getting an unpleasant surprise

We bulk buy rice. Not because we're preppers or anything weird like that but because it's cheaper (Plus you never know!). We were used to bags of rice sitting around on the pantry floor but no more! Now we have a really big blue barrel full of lovely rice.A couple of gas masks and a chainsaw and we're all set for the next amazing mini-budget-driven crisis.
