Really versatile for practice. I bought this for my son who is an avid boulderer and beginner rope climber. He loves it and takes it to forest school to practice. It can be used anywhere. Good sturdy material.

My son is a climber and I wanted to get him something he can use to strengthen his climbing muscles when travelling with work. This does the job and is good quality and does not take up much room.

Got these as a Christmas present. Looking forward to using them. Look amazing very well built. Nice soft edges. Little pricey but you get what you pay for with this product an that quality

Smooth and sturdy

This pair of climbing holds are very effective and are highly portable - ideal for use in the garden or out and about in a park or wood. The holds are made from milled plywood with a very smooth finish and laser-etched detail. Included in the package are two lengths of cord with which to secure them.I think that these climbing holds are ideal for those looking to practice/improve their grip and particularly useful in the pursuit of bouldering. There are a range of increasingly narrow grips to practice with and the holds can be secured (with the enclosed cords) over fence posts, tree branches, railings or climbing frames.Although a little pricey, these holds are incredibly sustainable and very well crafted. You do need to make sure you tie goo knots with the cords to make sure that you don't fall and you also need to take care with whatever you chose to secure them to but I can easily recommend this for practice.

Training on these isn't easy but it's not expected to be unless you are really experienced, but if you want to improve finger strength, hold strength, grip strength and your overall balance then these are excellent.I have a similarly designed hanging board attached to the wall that I've been using for some time so i was kind of experienced in using this type of hanging board.These are more versatile as they are not just stuck in one place, it allows more movement between them which I think really helps improve your overall balance and strength.The finish on both pieces are smooth to touch well finished so no chance of splinters or hurting yourself , they are very well made and designed , but it's not easy , it's hard work but we'll worth it to improve your overall performance in the comfort of your own home or in your garden.

I bought this in place of a hangboard as I am didn't want to drill holes in my wall and it does the job.You do lose a bit of sturdyness that you would get from a solid hangboard on a wall and I will say there is a small bit of flex in the rope especially if you use a lot of it but this is minimal. Also it comes with two ropes that are plenty long and would be suitable for any pole/tree etc

Got these for my son who does a bit of rock climbing as part of his school curriculum and he’s quite happy with this product. Despite the wooden appearance, they feel very sturdy and are very smooth.You’d maybe expect splinters here and there but after several weeks of use, it still retains the smoothness.My son has made the comparison that these are similar in quality to high quality gym equipment and it definitely seems that way. He says that they’re easy to set up and are great for improving his physique.For £49.90, you get a very high quality set of climbing holds that is well worth the price.Let me know if you found this review helpful. Perfect for warming up fingers or strength training with it. Good value.

Really effective training in a small package.

I like the product for what it is. Feels good on fingers, feels solid, has up to 10mm crimps, and is portable. But when using the two-finger and mono pockets, it feels awkward to lift since they are not aligned properly to the position of the weights.This is just my take but I feel like it would be so much better if there was a pinching section.Overall still a good purchase.
