This battery has nearly double the charge capacity of the original Dyson battery that came with the unit (113 vs 66 Wh). It comes in a package that includes the battery, a new filter, and an instruction manual. Installation was easy and involved removing the 3 screws that attaches the battery to the unit. After fully charging the battery and replacing the unit's filter with the new one (also an easy exact fit), I decided to test the battery by vacuuming the whole house (nearly 3200 sqft) including stairs, landings, cold air vents, etc. In the non-stop 50 minutes use that the battery lasted (and I might add without any noticeable heat buildup), I was able to complete the full job. During this time, the boost setting on the unit was set to single dot around 80% of the time, double dot around 15% of the time, and full Boost around 5% of the time. After 50 minutes, the unit would stop and come back after a minute or so and would operate again for a short while before stopping again. In an earlier test with the boost setting set to full Boost, the unit stopped after around 10 minutes of non-stop operation with some noticeable heat buildup. Overall I am very satisfied with this battery since I can vacuum the whole house on a single charge but giving a 4/5 stars for battery life just to incentivize the company to further advance their battery technology. Also this was my second Yaber purchase, the first being a video projector that has been working flawlessly for more than a year now.

Hurray our cordless Dyson V7 vacuum is working like new with the new battery. Thought I needed a new vac since we were only getting 4-5 minutes of vacuuming on a full charge. Cost of a new one was out of the question at this point in time. Did some troubleshooting research, and found a new battery was needed. Didn't know one could change the battery in the Dyson. After reading reviews, settled on this brand. I was a bit apprehensive as the cost for the replacement battery was almost $100 less that the official Dyson battery. Took a chance. The battery arrived. Super easy installation. Put the vac on the charger. A couple of hours later, a full charge and BOOM, my cordless vac working like new. We shall see about the longevity but so far I highly recommend buying this battery.

It's unacceptable for a replacement battery to exhibit such a flaw, and it's clear that this product hasn't undergone proper quality control.The frustration didn't end there. I went through the hassle of removing the battery and sending it back for a replacement, hoping that I received a defective unit. However, the replacement battery was no different. It's apparent that the issue isn't isolated to a single faulty product but rather a consistent problem with this battery model.The entire experience with this replacement battery has been a waste of time and money. I regret putting my trust in this product and wish I had chosen a reputable brand instead. Dealing with the disappointment, inconvenience, and potential risks posed by this battery has been incredibly frustrating.In conclusion, I strongly advise against purchasing this replacement battery. Its poor performance, overheating problem, and lack of reliability make it an absolute disappointment. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable and well-reviewed alternative.

Our Dyson v10 Animal had been losing runtime for a while, but one day we finally got the dreaded blinking red light. After some research, I figured out that a simple battery replacement should fix our issue. I found this replacement battery, which had a higher power rating as well as a substantially lower cost than the OEM version. My order arrived quickly and the installation only took a few minutes. After allowing for a 24-hour initial charge, our Dyson was working as good as new! I highly recommend this replacement battery if you need some improved runtime or in case you've started seeing the blinking red light on your current battery.

So far so good. Need at least 9-12 months to evaluate fairly the product.This is a follow up review:1. After 6 weeks the power capacity dropped by 75%2. Customer services handled the issue 5 points, excellent3. Now I have a new battery installed (exchange was within 24 hrs - kudos for both, Yaber and Amazon)4. Again, so far so good (had it now 7 days) and need a few months to have a fair evaluation on it.As a suggestion to Amazon and Yabber, we are dealing with Lithium batteries in a pack, any fall or bump will make the lithium jell separate in some of the 6 cells and reduce the life of the battery significantly. The packaging wasn't bump/fall resistant, the battery was wobbling inside both boxes (Jabber's and Amazon's) and will depend its integrity from the different handlers. So some foam or bubbles to hold the pack firmly would probably solve the problem.
