I had a Fenix E02R before, and it would flicker on low mode. This Olight stays on solid when you turn it on, and the bright mode can light up a large room. Unlike the Fenix E02R which uses a micro-USB and is somtimes hard to connect for charging, this light uses a USB-C and recharges easily. I carry it every day and had no problems so far. It has a nice wide beam, good for close up work.

OLIGHT is one of my favorite EDC flashlights because of its size vs. brightness. This version (l1R2 Pro) is slightly bigger than its cousin, the l1R2, which is more than likely due to the USB-C charging port vs the micro-USB charging port. The port can be accessed by twisting the flashlight counter-clockwise until the spring kicks in and expands it - exposing the port. Depending on your usage, this will hold a charge for weeks, if not months. The aluminum body is light and sturdy; the only danger will be scratches from your keys. I own the l1R2 Pro and the l1R2, so I can have them on different keychains. This light is a worthwhile purchase that will last you a while.

The Olight brand has amazing flashlights. The brightness is awesome. We purchased two of these keychain flashlights for gifts for people that live in cities. They have both said these are great to have. One said it has helped with walking their dog at night. The size is about the size of a AA battery but the amount of light is like flipping a light switch and illuminating an entire room. The charge also lasts a long time. I highly recommend this product for anyone who finds themselves out at night on a regular basis. It barely takes up room on a keychain. You could easily just attach this to a lanyard too and wear around your neck if you don’t want it on keys. This is also easy to use.

I have purchased 4 of these lights, and they are so handy! Small, but BRIGHT. They fit easily onto any keychain, and the battery is not only easy to charge, but it lasts a long time! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a small light to have on their person at all times. MUCH BETTER THAN ANY PHONE LIGHT!

I've had it for a couple of years. Small enough to attach to my Swiss Army knife. Charge lasts a long time. When charging, there's a red light that comes on. Never had it turn another color, as though it were finished charging. Keep thinking it should turn green or something. Love that it works with USB-C. Bright and small.

In the long term, you’ll save big money on batteries and help the environment at the same time. Initially I thought that the rotating on/off switch would be a problem, not so. It hasn’t malfunctioned once and is ultra easy to select from the off/low/high setting. The low is perfect for looking in a backpack, etc . The high is EXTREMELY bright! Don’t let the tiny size fool you. Charging is simple, easy and about an hour or two. Rugged and waterproof on my keychain. Will buy more, be sure to get the PRO model in black, it’s listed as having more power.

I use this almost every night, and the genius of it is that the dim setting is just bright enough to see where you are walking but not so bright as to use up the battery fast, so it goes a long time between charges on the dim setting. And the bright setting is plenty bright to see in the distance. Perfect keychain light because it's not very big or heavy, and it can be twisted on with one hand. One slight blemish is that the dim light stopped working after two years, but I still use the bright setting.
