I wanted to gift my piano students with this as a fun DIY Christmas craft, but when I received it, one of the lids was missing and one of the snowglobes had a round indent on the side of it. The snowmen are also extremely small and the trees are of cheap quality and have some branches really sticking out. I ended up getting an extra snowglobe from Michael’s and buying extra glitter to use with the “snow.” I recommend going to your local craft store and buying something similar there instead- that way, you can assess the items visually before purchasing!

One of my life rules is "If you keep your expectations low, you won't be disappointed." That certainly applies here. I thought this would be a cute little project gift for my grand kids, not really expecting it to be great or anything. But just a fun thing to do, and they could have snow-globes that they made themselves. Unfortunately, there are many problems with this kit that made me realize this really wasn't worth the price I paid for it. Problem #1: The lids do not seal at all, so water leaks. Even when I tried to seal them with silicon, there were still small leaks. Problem #2: When you glue the little figures to the lid (AKA the floor of the snow globe), they sit too low, so you can't even see them when you look at them. Problem #3 (and this is the biggie): The "snow" that is provided in the kit doesn't work. You are supposed to shake a snow-globe, and when you stop, the "snow" is supposed to softly fall to the bottom, giving the impression of real snow falling to the ground. The "snow" material that is provided in this kit FLOATS! It goes up to the top of the water, and gets bunched up in a blob of goopy looking stuff. So all in all, there is no real reason to buy this kit, since the end result is a triple disappointment.

Would not buy again. Bought it for the children in my daycare to make. After you put the trees in there is not much room for little snowman and he was not very visible. Good thing I had bought some slightly larger gloves at a dollar store. Used them

Cute little snow globe. The snow is plastic so it floats instead of settling at the bottom. Seal is not good. Water seeps out. Very disappointing for granddaughter.

At least one snow globe leaked when we filled it with water. We stopped filling the globes after that so that we could return the product.

Do not waste your money. The glitter does not work as it floats to the top and the snowman would be too small to be seen if the snow did worked. This was a big disappointment and I feel this company is selling an item that is completely and deceptively misrepresented. I wish I had read the reviews. Honestly it just doesn’t work. My 4 granddaughters were all ready to make them and were terribly disappointed. A scam. Don’t buy.

Die Tannenbäume niedlich verschneit auf einem Holzsockel wurden mit Heisklebepistole in den Deckel geklebt, mit unproportinal kleinem Schneemann dekoriert und der Schnee eingefüllt. Destilliertes Wasser (mit wenigen Tropfen Glycerin,wie überall nachzulesen) eingefüllt, verschraubt , fertig! Schnee schwimmt nach oben!!!, Tanne färbt aus , löst sich wegen des Holzes vom Deckelboden ! Hat irgendwer das Produkt mal getestet bevor es in den Handel kommt?

This snow globe kit is awful.The globes are quite thin plastic, so they are quite squeezable. They are not fully smooth either.The "snow" is shredded (not very finely) bits of clear plastic, it doesn't scatter through the water, it just floats on top. This was by far the worst part of the kit!The if glued directly into the base, the little snowman can't be seen at all when assembled, as it sits down in the neck of the globe. One also arrived damaged.I ended up buying additional decorations so my child could make 4 different globes. I bought acrylic discs to raise all the decorations up and make them visible. I bought glitter to use instead of the supplied "snow", and I had to buy glycerine to add to the water. Ended up a hugely expensive project because this kit was so appalling.Do not buy, it's a massive waste of money.

These are so much fun! Christmas always starts early in our house and the kids have been thinking about Christmas since September! We do lots of craft activities in the autumn/winter time. This snowglobe kit is great fun. I love the round shape of them and prefer them to the semi circle ones you can get. Shame the kit does not come with glycerine, which you needfor the water but we had that in the house anyway.It does come with faux snow and other accessories (the little bottle brush trees are really effective!)You could add glitter too. Lovely kit!

these are not water tight and definatly not for use as water snow globes snowman is so small it cant be seen once glued down the snow is too big and just plain pieces of plastic the bauble is very thini have not used the trees yet
