Old drivers
The unit works, BUT the drivers does not work with Windows 10. How old is it?Luckily it was possible to connect via IP-address and reconfigure.

New life for my Apple Laserwriter 16/600
This little unit saved my laserwriter 16/600 from the rubbish heap. The print server was "discoverable" on first connection (phew!) and required minimum configuration before printing a first class Apple test page. Could hardly believe my luck! Thanks guys for a great little unit!

Rien a dire
Je ne met que 3 étoila car pas compatible avec mon brother ( fax 8300p ) , mes fau savoir qu'à l'origine il ete que destiner au fax et non à servir d imprimante , donc pour le moment je ne peux rien dir au sujet du fonctionnement

Non funziona
Non si riesce ad applicare un ip statico in nessun modo, non memorizza le impostazioni nella EEPROM. Non so se la mia unità è difettosa o c'è un bug nel firmware, ma è inutilizzabile senza DHCP

PrintServer macht alte Parallelport Drucker Metzwerkfähig
Dieser PrintServer macht genau was er soll, und das ziemlich einfach.Schritt 1: Gerät am Centronics Parallelport des Druckers anschließen, Strom kommt vom mitgelieferten Netzteil. Netzwerkkabel anstecken.Schritt 2: die IP-Adresse ist fest auf 192.168.0.10 eingestellt. Deshalb mit einem Netzwerkrechner ins selbe Segment gehen (z.B. 192.168.0.2) und erst mal die WEB-Oberfläche starten. Hier empfehle ich eine Änderung der TCP/IP Daten auf DHCP, alternativ auch eine feste IP in deinem Bereich. Für meine Fritzbox hat sich z.B. 192.168.178.10 angeboten, der DHCP-Server vergibt Adressen ab 20, 2...19 ist also für solche Teilnehmer reserviert.Schritt 3: der Drucker wird vom PrintServer erkannt, nicht aber von Windows. Einfach neuen Drucker hinzufügen, Anschluss "generic TCP/IP", dann den Druckertreiber wählen. Bei mir war der Treiber schon für einen anderen Drucker des selben Herstellers installiert, dann geht es besonders einfach.Schritt 4: drucken.Gerät war bei mir in ca. 5min eingerichtet und funtionierte sofort, keinerlei Probleme. Empfehlenswert.Ob es sich preislich lohnt, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Für's doppelte Geld bekommt man heute auch schon einen netzwerkfähigen Drucker. Bei meinem war nur der USB-Anschluss defekt, warum also wegschmeissen, wenn es auch so einfach weiter geht.
