Did Its Job Well
This measurer was one of the least expensive on the site and close to $20 cheaper than anything at Lowes or Home Depot. I needed to measure several rooms, and some outdoor spaces, at a new house. Very easy to use and, as far as I could tell, accurate. Also, I dropped it during the process which resulted in an alarming thud, but it continued to work perfectly. I did not use any of the multiple measurement features, but given that those are simple processes laid on top of the laser measurements, it should work fine. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Measures Great
You can figure out room square footage, the whole house, in a few minutes. Love it

Accurate and Good Quality
Picked up this laser measurement tool for casual handyman use and hard to measure items. So far, it has been accurate, fairly easy to use, and has good features.Pros:1. Laser is strong and I haven't had any issues measuring longer distances, however, my longest measured distance so far is only a little over 80 feet.2. Can do area and Pythagorean measurement3. Stores history of measurementsCons:1. It's a little on the bulky side. Would be nice if they streamlined it to reduce the size a bit.2. While the construction seems sturdy enough, I wouldn't say it feels construction-proof, time will tell how rugged it actually is and how well it holds up to being used alongside other tools.I'd recommend picking this up over some of those that are available in the big box stores. For less money, you get more features and (so far) reliable operation. I've had issues with the cheaper end of laser measurement devices from big box stores both in accuracy and reliability.

so nice to use but wish it would show inches in fractions as well
sure made things easy to measure inside of skylite for a shade. Hate bending a tape to guess what the exact measurement is. And one person can do this. Dont need a second person to hold a tape in place when your on a ladder reaching way above your head trying to measure a distance over 9 ft. lol

It's fine
Handy but not perfect

Multi Function Measuring
This product is super handy in finding distances between points in a room and can even be used to measure area of a room. The unit can be switched from Meters to Feet depending what you are looking for.

Accurate span measurements earn 5 🌟
Ok so I'm completely fed up with trying to stretch out a metal tape measure over a span, watching it bend and droop in the middle and know my measurement is just an estimation! So I purchased this laser distance meter by Lytool. First I wanted to make sure it was accurate so I took a known span measurement with a hard rule and the laser tool... the laser meter is spot on. It has more features that I may use in the future with area and volume computation but for now, just having accurate span measurements is worth its weight in gold. 5 stars!

Photo Comparison of Its Inaccuracy
I compared this Lytool laser measure device ($18.99) against another laser measure device ($15.99) and a tape measure. This Lytool laser measure device is consistently far less accurate than the other device that cost $3 less.I placed both laser measure devices at the same distance from a wall and set both of them to measure from the rear end of the devices. Thus, they should show the same distance, but this Lytool device is always far worse. As my first photo shows, when the actual distance per tape measure is 96 inches, the other tool said 96.063 inches (pretty close), but Lytool said 96.7 inches (0.7 inches off) which is 0.64 inches worse than the other laser measure. Being off by 0.7 inches is a lot in my view.As my second photo shows, when the actual distance per tape measure is 48 inches, the other tool said 48.031 inches but Lytool said 48.5 inches which is 0.47 inches worse. As my third photo shows, when the actual distance per tape measure is 72 inches, the other tool said 72.008 inches but Lytool said 72.6 inches which is 0.59 inches worse.I repeated this test for distances of 12 inches to 130 inches. Every time the Lytool was worse. So I returned the Lytool. The Lytool cost more but was less accurate.
