A useful book to help understanding of this nasty condition. I would like to read more about specific conditions so will be looking for more.

I have read numerous articles and books about Crohn's disease and they have all been scientific or nursing related. As a nurse and mother of a Crohn's patient, I wanted to know about real life experiences not the statistics and opinions of physicians. This young man gives a heartwrenching detail of a nasty disease. I think this should be required reading for people in the health care field, especially physicians who claim to be experts in the field. My heart ached for this person as it does for my own son. Thank you for writing your experiences down and for still having some optimism. I would like to continue reading your journal.
