It does not change the color of your water after using it for 2 days
My little fishies love this food and it does not change the color of the tank water after a couple days of use. It does not clog up my filter either. It still smells God awful LOL, but they love it

There Are Better Choices
I purchased this for some very young Corydoras as they were having difficulty managing the pellets that I normally use. It’s hard to find smaller containers of fish food on Amazon as most selections appear to be in the 5-gallon bucket range. Anyhow, I thought I’d try these API flakes as I could buy in a smaller size and switch over to pellets as the Cories grew. I’ve never used API fish food before. I found that the flakes work OK but are not of the same processed quality as other brands such as Omega-One, Tetra, and even Wardley. The flakes are deformed and mixed in and attached to clumps or masses of food, making these decidedly less flakey.
