Q: Hose is too short. how do i extend it or what do i replace it with? i need about 48".

Notice the part in the picture where the flex hose appears straight, that is where to cut and add. I don't recall what I used to extend it, could have been copper pipe. Then it can be clamped with hose clamps.

Q: This says it accepts a 1.5 inch drain fitting. but in reality it's 2 inch. am i missing something or is the add wrong? this won't accept my 1.5" drain

Threads are 1 1/2-11.5NPSL. They are pipe threads. 1 ½” pipe is 1.9” in diameter. The ID of 1 ½” pipe depending on the schedule. As the 1.9” OD pipe has to screw into the threads, the threads are close to the OD of the pipe and are much larger than the 1 ½” call-out. NPSL as special pipe threads. S = Straight. L = Loose. i believe it was a two inch drain I have in my camper. it's not a full size one like what is in your house sink. works great but the hose is really short. plan to get another piece of hose is your drain is not close to the outlet.

Q: Will this cap fit the 6gal igloo water jug amazon has?

The discharge end is common garden hose thread. There are much easier ways to connect for drainage without this special RV sink connection.
