The voltage regulator works fine
It does what it supposed to do, regulates voltage.

Good, but not the best
Works, but is hard to set to an exact voltage. For a variable supply it might be OK, but for a "set it and forget it" application a multi-turn potentiometer (Trimpot) control would be better. If you need to adjust the voltage frequently use the largest practical diameter knob that can be fitted to it. The digital meter read 0.2 volts lower than the actual output measured by a known precision voltmeter.

Worked great for my DC power supply.
No problems, works as advertised. I did add a ripple filter after my transformer and bridge rectifier. Nice clean power for my audio signal processors.

Easy adjustable linear voltage reg
I attached this to a 6V battery to make a low noise tunable voltage supply. It works well and is much lower noise then a bench top power supply.

Limited voltage range
Despite having 12 volts on the input I could only get 8.8 volts on the output at full turn of the dial. This is with a single 12v led lamp for a pinball machine used for the testing. Also, there are no instructions. I had to find this item on another website to figure out the positive and negative terminals for the input side.

It isnt waterproof so make a small box out of plexiglass and u be fine
The media could not be loaded. That im able to control the voltage going thru. The rc jeep with a 12 v battery

They fixed the labeling issue and uploaded a half accurate diagram for hooking it up. At least you can figure it out with that the hard way without blowing it up a second time just remember witch way you first tried or get good with electrical engineering. It seems like they think you bying this isn't for functionality but building it for a play date. P.S try it with a 9v battery first till you get it down in a safe level.....good luck have fun.
