ComfiLife Foot Rest for Under Desk at Work – Adjustable Height Memory Foam Foot Stool for Under Desk, Office Chair & Gaming Chair – Ergonomic Footrest for Back & Hip Pain Relief (Black)

I ordered this foot rest to replace a foot rest I've used at work for the past several years. This particular foot rest, by Comfilife, was highly recommended by Wirecutter, which is why I decided to get it. I've submitted a photo of my old foot rest (on the right) vs. the one from ComfiLife (on the left). You will notice that there is a substantial height difference, with Comfilife being much higher. Note that it opens, so it can be used at a lower level (but it's flat). It took a day to adjust to the new, higher rest. But I've compensated by sitting a little differently in my work chair.It is sturdiness, yet soft. The covering can be removed and washed. I love the way it feels! It's definitely an upgrade from my original one.One other comment is that I chose the teardrop shape. I'm not sure how I feel about it. If done again, I'd likely get the classic. If I was at home in a more relaxed position, I might like the teardrop. But since I'm using this at work for ergonomic reasons, I'm not sure the teardrop shape is the best one.That being said, I'm very happy with my purchase. If you have back or hip problems at work, definitely consider getting a foot rest!! Once again, Wirecutter hasn't let me down with this recommendation!

This is surprisingly great! I love it more than I thought I would.

I have flat feet so having a foot rest in my office space feels better than resting my feet on my chair legs. Helps where I don’t have leg tingling anymore from legs just tired. Good height, nice size, not too firm but very soft.

Provides great support for legs and options to flex and stretch knees , calves, ankles and feet when sitting depending on the position of the pillow that you choose. Very beneficial to have positional options and the foam is sturdy enough so it won’t collapse with use. I have knee arthritis and significant stiffness when sitting too long and other makeshift options with pillows and stools were inconvenient and overall not helpful. Also provides a better position for legs and feet when sitting. The covering is soft and comfortable. I st only recommend.

My feet are currently resting on this foot rest.Has reduced my back pain.Only negative is that it attracts dust and since it's on the floor- my blue cover now is no longer blue.

I was a bit skeptical that this would do anything for me, it's actually been very helpful. I have a bad habit of sitting cross-legged on my chair wall working. Obviously not great for your back or really any part of your body. This piece is comfortable and pretty easily adjustable to support better posture and awareness. I'm also able to use this when my desk is in standing mode to give my feet a little bit of relief and do some stretching if I need to. I will say in order to adjust you do have to hold it which is nice so that it doesn't accidentally adjust. However I could see it being a bit inconvenient for some people.

This foot cushion is very comfortable. It’s especially gentle on bare feet. I recommend it!
