Biggest surprise: this is a hard cover book! I was expecting more like a school notebook but this is exceptional. Beautifully made. Pages are sturdy, maybe three times as thick as regular notebook paper. The double spiral binder fastens in such a way that it can't twist or buckle on the pages or cause you trouble turning them, and there's tons of room for writing directions and adding notes and ideas for the recipes. And I love the artwork, totally my style. The only thing I would add would be pockets to inside of the covers but that's easily remedied with a bit of manila folder and some Elmer's glue. Really happy I made this selection!

Bought this as a gift for a new wife and she was very pleased with it. I often buy a recipe collector book for a bridal gift ,nice to keep favorite recipes in. This one was a more modern style but good quality and set out well.

Bought this as a gift, shipped in padded envelope. When opened the spiral binding was not quite correct, and I may have bent a few spirals trying to get everything aligned. Doesn't seem to be a problem now that I corrected the binding.The cover is thick and durable, and will keep the pages and recipes secure for a long time. There are adhesive tabs with a few categories and a few other blank tabs for your own labels. The tabs stick well to pages and help with quick reference. The book includes a section for indexing, but page numbering is going to be odd. If you look at the product images, there is a call-out to a teacup image. Each recipe page copies this image, with the teacup at the lower right. Unfortunately, that means all the odd/left side pages have the teacup buried in the gutter, beside the spiral binding. Not handy for flipping through the outer corners to find a page number. A simple mirrored image of the page layout for the left pages would have made this much easier to use.Overall, the book is great, sturdy, and provides ample room to store all of your favorite recipes. The few flaws aren't enough to make it difficult to use, but if they were fixed it would make this gift perfect.

Great design! Large enough space for ingredients and directions. Also, comes with labels, including blank tabs to organize recipes. Includes an index to easily get to recipes throughout the book. Would purchase again.

These books are very sturdy and put together well! I've actually purchased 6 now of these! To keep all my recipes in. I'm doing the books by meals and side and such! The pages are nice and thick so stuff doesn't bleed or bleed through the pages! If you're wanting to gift these to people you will not be disappointed!

I just bought 2 of these to give to my 24 year old sons. They both have their own homes and one was recently married. I gave them each a recipe book with about 30 of our family's favorite recipes. If the recipe came from someone they knew- like a grandparent- I noted that on each one. The recipe books were a hit! There are 60 recipe pages so space for 120 recipes. I broke up the books this way- Appetizers 10 pages, Soup 10 pages, Mains 20 pages, Sides 10 pages and Baked Goods 10 pages. There was plenty of room for their spouse/significant other to add in their own family's favorites as well. I also think there is something special about having recipes hand written. My mother in law passed a few years ago from Alzheimers and I love having some of the recipes she wrote down for me in her own hand while she was still able.
