Rich full bodied
Hard to find decaffeinated whole beans that are both Swiss water processed and robust. Tried for the first time and makes a bold, rich cup of coffee. Not acidic. Will buy again

Best Coffee
I buy decaf and the processing of caffeine free is important. Many companies use different processing type which are harmful to your health. The coffee is Swiss processed and the most delicious coffee I’ve ever tried. Smooth and no acid aftertaste. Many types and flavors offered but it is the best coffee I’ve ever tried.

Flavor on point!
I’ll tell you from the start, this coffe is expensive (for me) this is why I gave it a 4 star; but the flavor…., the best I have had on decaf, smooth, a little bit of cocoa flavor with blackberry, and it has no bitterness if cold brew. I definitely would of buy it more frequently because of the price but overall a food coffee to enjoy all day long.

Great decaf
I bought the Costa Rica flavor because it was the cheapest but it is so good. I drink my coffee black. I'm unable do drink caffeine because of my anxiety so I wanted to try decaf. My sister suggested this one because of the method they use to decaffeinate the coffee. It's a bit pricey but worth it to still be able to have coffee once in a while. I don't feel any of the caffeine effects that I am very sensitive to. I think the one bag will last me a while. Will purchase in the future when I need to restock.

Made the switch to decaf a joy!
Just stopped drinking anything with caffeine about three weeks ago to address an annoying health issue. I love my morning coffee! I ground whole beans from different coffees I purchase mainly from Whole Foods but the decaf selection was very limited. I wanted to find the most flavorful and smooth decaf whole beans to replace my regular coffee habit. I did the research and decided to try what I considered the three top choices. I purchased all three on Amazon and they were delivered quickly. I had a hard time deciding which to try first but I chose the Volcanica House Blend Decaf because it smelled so great without even opening the bag. I’ve had it three times so far and it is simply delicious. Deep flavor, very smooth and such great taste. I couldn’t wait to get to my second cup on each occasion. I would have never guessed that this was decaf. I haven’t tried the other two top brands yet but I did test it against the decaf I had I my kitchen for guests who preferred decaf and there was no comparison. I will be trying the other two top contenders soon but I can say right now that the Volcanica House Blend Decaf is better than even many if not all of the best whole bean caffeinated coffees I have ever had.

Disappointed in the harsh flavor
Ever since discovering there are amazing specialty decaf coffees out there, I’ve gotten really into coffee, since I can’t do caffeine. I'm still a newbie, but I have tasted several really great bags of coffee and this one is hands down the worst flavor. The first bag I am comparing it to is about $20/lb decaf from some small roastery on the east coast. That one was way better than this stuff, more delicate flavors and fuller body.My next bag was a $50/ lb Kona decaf. So yeah obviously it will taste better but seriously it’s like 100x better not just 2x better even though it’s 2x the price.I’d give the Kona a 10, the east coast roastery one an 8, and this a 2.I don’t know if it’s cuz I chose the “low acid” Volcanica that there was just something weird here but the coffee tasted flat, burnt, and just harsh no matter how I brewed it.Another big difference I noticed is during the bloom phase, both my other bags were blooming like crazy with lots of bubbles and this one barely sputtered. I checked the roast date and it was supposedly a month prior… I was surprised because it sure wasn’t behaving like fresh roasted coffee.I’m still open to trying one more variety from Volcanica before writing it off but definitely never getting the low acid again.Edit: I tried the Sumatra and it is MUCH better… so there’s something weird about the low acid one I think… cuz I even tend to like darker roasts and more earthy vs “bright” cups of coffee so it’s not like I’m into high acid flavors… but the low acid variety of this brand just tasted gross and harsh.
