I needed a shorter dual band antenna for in-town use so I wouldn’t be hitting all the tree limbs with my roof mounted antenna. I gave this a try and was pleasantly surprised. SWR was fine right out of the package and could bring up a UHF repeater 30 miles away full quieting. Very satisfied. I can just put my longer, higher gain antenna on when traveling on the open road.

Arrived as described. Easily mounted, cost was reasonable.

The gain on this was not very high but I did test it without a ground plane. If I installed it in a proper mount with a ground plane over a metal car fender or cab, then i'm sure the gain would be just fine.

I purchased a RUKO drone after reading the reviews and decided it was what I wanted. I had a small issue with it and reached out to customer service and they went way beyond my expectations on the issue. 100% would recommend to anyone.

I just don’t have words to convey just how perplexed I am about this NMO antenna setup.How can the antenna base be attached to mount..? The “L” bracket is cheap thin stainless..the coax is attached to brass NMO bottom do you can’t remove the coax (There’s a wee bit of solder securing the coax) this setup is just..wrong. No instructions.,!Instructions….wouldn’t help anyways. There’s just no possible way to install L bracket..secure coax to L bracket..HOW?? You can’t!As stated..I’m very perplexed on why this antenna setup is even being allowed to be sold.I’ve already started the return process snd I received this item less than snd hour ago.Good Luck!

Can be used to pick up 20+ miles, cable is pretty long. Would recommend for a scanner or Fire Dept Mobile radio.
