This is a good choice for the price. It has most of the functions you will need. Its still well built and strong. Unless you are after some special function like temperature or PH there is no need to spend more.

Decent, cheap multimeter

Simple to use and has easy unique settings for checking common appliance batteries such as 1.5v and 9v. It has continuity testing and a non contact power detector for 240v home electrics allowing you in most cases to identify which way live wires run to/from switches and sockets within walls without invasive actions. Great value and functionality!

Works great, nice clear display with illumation. Bought it to test capacitors and it worked well. You have to hold it there for a few seconds for it recognise it and give the reading, once you understand how it works, it's great and build quality is good & solid.
