Smells good (subtle chocolate smell), and absorbs quickly into the skin, and leaves a natural looking buildable glow. The color is really nice. I have very fair skin so Ive struggled to find self tanners that arent orange or dark brown, and this gave me that happy medium I had been looking for. Yes if you don't rub it in well and evenly you might get some streaks, but I didnt think mine were too bad. it didnt bother me and looked sort of like a natural tanline because the color is so natural looking and its buildable so each time you apply it isnt a huge contrast to your real skintone. Definitely recommend and plan to try the facial serum too.

Bondi Sands is the only self tanning lotion that doesn’t turn my skin orange. I have tried many brands. Perhaps due to the gradual process of this lotion. Yes, it needs at least 4 to 5 days to see tan results but it has a natural look.I came back to this product after not finding it at my local store and trying other products. This one is for me.

It is a very gradual tan, more like a very light coloring but takes many applications. You will not get a deep or dark tan from this but will get a slight tan color. This lotion is very moisturizing and does not have an overpowering scent.

It doesn’t turn you orange for one good thing, but there is one issue I do have what we call freckles and unfortunately it causes them to even get darker each use and they stand out which I hate. But it is great to use especially in between tanning.

It works, but I kind of hoped it would be darker. This is probably the lightest/mildest tanning lotion I've ever used. If you're looking for something very subtle, this is your product! Just not personally what I was hoping for.Otherwise, the application is good; a little goes a long way, and as long as you have a good application technique, it'll be pretty even. The smell is pleasant - like a mixture of chocolate and coconut. The only area that became a little splotchy and oversaturated was my toes. I use a makeup brush (blush brush) to apply the product to my hands and feet and go very lightly on my fingers and toes (and my fingers were fine), so again, not sure what happened there, but it could be user error. I decided to start skipping my toes after my third application and they look okay now. Oddly, it seems like it really does not want to stick to my shins, and I know you're probably thinking that's probably because of shaving, but it sticks to my arms better than anywhere on my body and I shave those more often than everywhere else. Very weird, but I'm going to assume that's probably due to some unknown thing that I'm doing.Zero patchiness with fading, though I may be applying it too often to give it a chance to fade. I shower every two days and applied this every other day. If it was applied not on a shower day, I dry brushed my body first.Do not apply this to your face, it will dry it tf out. It does not dry the skin on my body out, but it was so drying on my face I swear it temporarily gave me new wrinkles. Can't explain that either 🤷‍♀️.After 4 full body applications, I am ~⅔ of the way through the bottle, so assume you'll get around 6 full body applications from it. A little does go a long way but you're still using a lot of product at a time. It goes quicker than you expect.I have had zero issues with this color transferring to anything but skin! My boyfriend helped me apply it to my back, with gloves, and he still managed to get a noticeable streak on his arm and thigh somehow, lol. However, I do not wear many white clothes nor do I have light sheets. My sheets are brown, and all the underwear and pajamas I wore after applying this (and standing naked for ~5 minutes to let it set) were dark in color. Lighter colors worn the day after application saw no transfer. YMMV.Overall, I was not wholly dissatisfied with this product but I will not be buying it again. I probably would if it yielded a darker result.

Best tanning lotion I have ever used. The fragrance is also fantastic. I have had skin cancer so am careful to never be in the sun. This works so well and is very natural looking.

I want to preface this review by stating that I have used Jergens, Garnier, and Tanologist self tanners without any problems. This stuff, however, should not be marketed as something safe to apply to skin.Back at the beginning of September I developed a horrible rash on my legs. I couldn't figure out what caused it but it was the most uncomfortable, painful, itchy rash I have ever had in my entire life. It lasted for about 5 weeks of misery. It was so bad that I actually went to the doctor to seek help and I had to sleep with ice packs behind my knees for about a week or two during the worst of it just to calm down the itch enough that I could actually sleep because nothing else helped the pain and horrible itch. Hot showers were a whole new level of torment because heat intensified the itch to a rather shocking degree until my skin felt like it was crawling and on fire.Fast forward about a month and a half and my skin had finally healed. I decided that it was safe again to use moisturizers (I had been avoiding them because I didn't want to risk causing any additional irritation to my broken skin) and got back to my usual moisturizing routine. Then one night a couple of days ago I applied this self tanning lotion and went to bed. The very next morning I woke up and the rash had returned all over again confirming that the original rash had been caused by this lotion. I am back to another several weeks of misery and loss of sleep because of this horrific product. I don't know what is different about it versus other self-tanning lotions but I refuse to buy any product made by this company ever again and I suggest you do the same.P.S. this lotion smells extremely strong. It smells something like a mix of bittersweet chocolate and body odor, and it lasts all, day, long.
