Great craft knives especially for the price.Two knives with 9 spare blades for each (so 10 in total) at 7.99 GBP is great value. I'm thinking about getting some more.Nice design which looks good and sits comfortably in your hand. It is a nearly all metal design with the blade guide being shaped metal so it doesn't flex.Tried cutting a bundle of paper and it gave a nice clean cut. The blade is retained well in the knife but, though better than most, something stronger to stop the blade changing position would be nice (easy to put your thumb on the blade moving button), but tha comes down to how you hold it.Would definitely recommend as for the price it is way ahead of it's competitors (not counting those three times the price).

These knives are really sturdy, much better than I expected for the price. They are another level above the usual plastic ones you see in DIY stores, the metal body is solid and nice to hold, and the separate internal metal blade guide ensures the blade doesn't move or wobble when cutting, giving more accurate results.The smaller knife is perfect for craft work, and the blades are nice and sharp, giving really need cuts and not snagging paper like cheaper blades can, the larger knife is great for DIY, trimming the rough edges on timber after cutting, and even scoring plaster before cutting holes without any troubles.The sprung metal ball that secures the blade is really positive in action, and holds the blade exactly where you want it, no sliding when cutting, or inadvertant blade extension when not wanted.Overall these are excellent tools, even better when you consider the price, and that they come with spare blades. I have been using both externsively since I got them, and wouldn't consider going back to the usual plastic ones now.

Sharper, neater, easier to hold, and they take up less space in the tool drawer. They do cost a bit more than the others I've had, but they are worth it! I'm so glad I tried them!

My husband, a painter/decorator/handyman, is really pleased with this Amazon Basics utility knife. He likes the clean, slimline design which fits into his box of favourite screwdriver bits, thereby keeping some of his most-used tools to hand, constantly. Many utility knifes have a much bulkier profile. He was also super-pleased to receive the pack of blades and also the small knife with blades. There’s a useful tool positioned at the end of the handle, to snap individual blades off from the main blade, after they become naturally dull with use. The blades will retract fully after use, for safety. Apparently the knife has an auto locking mechanism and is easy to grip. The casing is smooth and overall the item seems to be highly durable.

Good value . Come with spare blades . I am hopeless about misplacing things and although I have bought several Stanley knives I always lose them and also find the blades fiddly to change . With these I literally keep one in every room and they are a good price. Solid and functional . Definitely recommend especially if on offer . You get plastic cutters like this for virtually the same price so these are excellent value
