Numark TT250USB | Professional Direct Drive Turntable with Magnetic Cartridge, Aluminum Platter & S-shaped Tonearm

In searching for a simple, direct drive turntable, I was torn between this and the Audio-Technica LP120. I settled on the Numark TT250USB after a dealer price drop. I paid a little more than the $199 offered here, because I wanted the option of a local return. Got it set up, and I'm extremely content with my decision. Sturdy build, easy upgrades, and looks cool! The included cartridge is fine to get you spinning, but I replaced it with a lighter tracking AT100E, greatly improving the dynamics. The built-in pre-amp is your only option for audio-out, but it sounds great! I don't think it is ideal for heavy dj use, but it is tougher than those expensive fru-fru home units. I can't see how you'd be disappointed with this table, especially at $200. Go ahead, order it!

So far, so good. First record player w/o belt drive. It was easy enough to set up. Calibrating the tone arm was the only frustrating part, but eventually figured it out.

I bought this as a gift on recommendation from a relative that djs professionally and although it was difficult to understand the instructions given, I was able to find a more detailed video on youtube that made the process more accurate. We hooked it up to small Bose speaker and it's so crisp. It is a little pricey for just using it to listen to records but its so worth it for the quality.

Not great torque in comparison to the tt200. Get what you pay for,still works ok though.

Lots of great things about this turntable: it looks amazing, has a decent motor, and is well made. It's also good for sratching and excellent for playing records. Tempo accuracy is great. However, even though it looks like a DJ turntable it isnt quite up to the job. The two strikes against it in that regard is that the motor is just slightly too underpowered, but the real trouble is that the platter is too light. When you are trying to mix (beat match) records and nudge the platter forward, instead of a quick second bump ahead in speed, the platter essentially goes flying (not conducive to mix!). When you apply pressure to the platter to slow it down, as the motor is a bit weak, you run the risk of the platter stopping altogether (also not good for mixing!). I eventually go used to nudging the platter forward to and then applying light pressure to stop the 'runaway' platter, and this managed to get the job done, but it wasnt ideal.So essentially, it's a great turntable for listening, scratching, and viewing, not so good for beatmatching. Hopefully on the mk2 version they'll have it checking off all the boxes.Oh forgot to mention, it does have two buttons to nudge forward or backwards (similar to what you find on the ns7 controllers), so that is another option to help mix, but I learned 'old school' so it wasnt for me. I wanted to add I think they made an excellentt turntable for the price, but I think DJs will find it too underpowered and light for real DJ use.

Mechanically good, arm is more than adequate. Only drawback that I also can use effectively is there is not a phono out on the table. User has to use supplied line out utilizing internal phono preamp or USB connection. I stuck an old technics equalizer in the line out path to my yamaha R-S500 receiver to shape the tone. Helps in my situation. The Yamaha receiver has always bothered me for not allowing an effects loop. Nice looking unit has a modern sleek appeal. As far a being DJ worthy, don't ask me.

Très bon produit voir génial !!! Très bonne sonorité a l'origine, mais je conseil une cellule "Numark CC-1" pour 56€ un ravissement !!! Je ne regrette vraiment pas mon achat.... Produit difficile a trouver en vente magasin. Je le conseil vraiment. Livré dans les temps .. je conseil d'acheter la "Flybiz Mini Balance Numérique" afin de vraiment régler le poids de la cellule sur le disque qui doit être très précis... et là ... vous aurez un son hors norme pour les vrais amateurs de vinyles.

Ottimo giradischi... pesante ,funzionale , preciso, pulito e bellissimo...Buon pitch control e bend...per lo scratch dovete sostituire la puntina...ottima conchiglia headshell

Magnifico plato de tracion directa he hecho una compra muy buena.un plato donde la calidad de el vinilo suena siembre que los vinilos esten buen estado y que la cápsulas sean buenas.las cápsulas que traen el plato no son buenas pierde mucha calidad de sonido,yo utulizo cápsulas numark cc1 son caras pero el sonido mejora muchísimo de el vinilo.

Also: habe seit etwa 15 Jahren einen billigen Numark und mit Ortofon Tonabnehmer ist der dennoch toll gewesen; das einzige, was mich gestört hat ist, dass kein Deckel vorhanden war, weshalb das Ding ständig verstaubt war (inkl. Plattenteller).Hab dann einen DUAL um 450 Euro bestellt, der war so schrecklich plastikhaft und unwertig, dass ich ihn gleich wieder zurückgeschickt habe.Jetzt also der Numark TT250 und ich bin begeistert!Schwer, wertig, mit Licht zum Nadel auflegen, mit Tonarmlift (obwohl ich den nie nehme), mit Deckel; durch den Line-Anschluß gibt es gar kein Rauschen mehr und was das Wichtigste für mich ist: der Schraubanschluß für andere Tonabnehmer; als wieder Ortofon montiert: perfekter Sound.Schönes tolles Gerät.LGAlex

It's glorious to be able to go onto the Internet and hear any kind of music anywhere, from anywhere, and get it instantly. But there's also something glorious about having a record with a sleeve and looking at the artwork, putting it on the turntable and playing it, there's still something romantic to me about that. Great Product .........love it to have.
