4 Foot F32T8 Clear Fluorescent Tube Guard with End Caps, Polycarbonate Protective Lamp Sleeve

I installed two new 4 foot LED lights in an uncovered fixture over my workbench. I bought these clear tubes to protect the new lights from breakage and possible falling glass. They installed fairly easily and should protect my work area from any falling broken glass if accidentally bumped.

Arrived loosely packaged and damaged. With a little bubble wrap and care these would’ve been great. Might work for what I need them for but disappointed in the lack of care for the product.

Arrived with sigificant warpage and bend marks, small punctures it was roughly handled it during storage.It couldn't have been in shipment given how light it was and the box it came in.

This arrived broken. We tried to use it in a light experiment for my grandson's science project and tried to mend the crack with duct tape. That didn't work well so we had a bout 5 seconds worth of experiment that involved filling the tube with water. If you need it to arrive in one piece, I suggest ordering well in advance and make sure you can return it.

This is pure junk! would not protect anything from knocks or impact that would fracture anything greater than an egg!!

I purchased this for light painting - and it came in an oversized box - lightly packed, and the tube itself was scuffed up with various dents and creases in it. It's just meant to either be a protective sleeve, or in my case - used at night for light painting with a flashlight stuck in the bottom. It worked for what I needed.
