Would love this fabulous scent scent offered in your 6oz classic candle holder with a regular wick. It will be easier for one hand than this beautiful but huge vessel with the extra heavy lid, requiring two hands. Packaging is gorgeous, definitely great for gift giving. Bought three, keeping them because so wonderful smelling, but in future I will pay attention to SIZE and WICK. Have never turned back since La Jolie Muse was recommended by a family member a few years ago. All good except the strange blue glass round cropped pyramid shape last year, which burned lopsided and never the entire candle. And this humongous one... ;-)) Will keep you posted as to how the entire candle burns! thank you

I have a fig tree in the backyard and discovered while burning cuttings that fig smells AWESOME. And this candle is so far the closest to real fig I can find (haven't tried a Diptyque; not sure I ever will). Wick is centered well and the candle burns out to the edge the way it should.In order to prevent your candle from tunneling, you have to burn it all the way out to the edge; this candle is so large that it took, I'm not kidding, seven hours the first time, which in my book is way too long to have a scented candle going. Yikes. So I've discovered that these larger sized candles are not for me. This is a great brand, though, so I'll try their smaller candles next time.

The heavy glass jar is beautiful and the rose scent is amazing. The packaging was really nice too with a nice quality, soft/satiny olive green ribbon tied around it that I can reuse for other purposes. It also came in thick styrofoam to protect it nicely. Styrofoam is awful for environmental purposes but it served to protect the candle very well the way it was packaged. It still gets 5 stars, but it is the noisiest candle I've ever had, it doesn't really bother me but it's very puzzling how noisy it is. I always cut the wick down as directed, so I don't know if I just got a weird one or what. Not deterred though, I am excited to buy others to see if they are strangely noisy too, but especially for the aroma and especially the fancy glass jar with matching lid!!

This candle smells and looks wonderful. I received a candle that looked like it had melted during shipping and the customer service took care of it immediately. The packaging it comes in is beautiful too. I will for sure be gifting these in the future.

Very nice quality and smells amazing.

I am obsessed with the smell of gardenias. This candle has a beautiful fragrance but unfortunately it’s not as fragrant as bath and bodywork’s gardenia. Although this is a pretty, nice smelling candle I prefer to buy the bath and bodywork’s gardenia candle.

Bought this as a birthday gift for a good friend who loves this candle! The order was packaged nicely, with wrapping paper and ribbon. My friend repurposes the beautiful jar once the candle is finished. She says the scent is not overbearing but nicely aromatic

La Jolie Muse candles are always excellent. Slow-burning soy wax, gorgeous glass jar, exquisite and well-balanced perfume composition. While I enjoyed a lot the scent of the Rose Noir & and Oud candle, it systematically gave me a headache. I had to offer it to someone else.

This was a gift for my wife, she love the candel but was disapointed of the foam wrapping without the posh box.

I bought this for my wife's baths ..and because of the good reviews. ...maybe I got a dud ...but we can't smell a fifty dollars candle ..nice jar ..well packed ..but that's itUpdate. After my review of this product I was contacted by Melrose customer service offering me a refund or another candle ...I chose to get the another and picked the*Rose* scent. I'm happy to say it had a pleasent and noticable scent. Thank you Cyan from customer service.(yes that's how it was spelt) . Customer service is said to be be lacking with online shopping ,but with the amount of choices we have now, it's more important than ever.Maybe they hoped I would change my opinion, or maybe they are just a good company and care about their products . I still think the price is a little high, but if you factor in the packaging, the box that it comes in , the beautiful jar you are left with, and excellent customer service It's pretty close ,I will purchase another
