Take 2 Interactive The Outer Worlds (PS4) (PS4)

If you liked the Fallout games you will probably like The Outer Worlds, as the game mechanics, story and general feel are very similar to the Fallout series. Same open world play-style, with main and side quests. Also, you interact with the NPC's and have options for your dialog in terms of response-- just like in Fallout. Overall the game was fun and immersive and I recommend it to any Fallout fan, or anyone who likes open-world adventure games. The only down-side is that compared with Fallout, this game is very short. Also the world is a lot smaller and much more limited in terms of exploration and items in the environment. The customization is also more limited, and the settlement building is totally absent. But in spite of these disappointments, the game is pretty fun and worth a play-through.

IMPORTANT: This is a UK release. It still plays beautifully, etc. but you Will Not be able to add any DLC storylines to this release.If you played (and enjoyed) Fallout 4, just buy The Outer Worlds - don't read farther. If you haven't played Fallout 4, The Outer Worlds uses the same game mechanics (and TOW directors were the Fallout creators). TOW is a game where you explore alien worlds, kill hostile monsters with varied weapons and pick what corporation you want to "endorse" by your actions. Yes, corporations. Buy the game. Now.

Purchased this game because I kept hearing that it's similar to Fallout 4 as far as game mechanics go and since Fallout is my favorite game I picked this up. It's pretty similar, not as in depth as Fallout, more like one of it's dlcs but it's a fun and entertaining game. I got through it pretty quickly which was a bummer as I wanted to play more so I ended up buying the two dlcs for it and it gave me a bit more play time. Isn't a huge game but for $20 I highly recommend if youre into similar games.

The description said it was the US version but what arrived was the EU version. Still highly recommend this game as I had some fun playing it.
