Snips12.5-Cup Cheese Keeper with Drain and Bottom Grid, yellow

Over 3,000 French reviewed this cheese box favorably at amazon in France. I’m enjoying it. The reason I use a cheese box, since buying one in France years ago, is mainly because I find that cheese stored inside it keeps fresh for around 10 days longer. Some practical features I like about this Snips box: it’s large and the clear plastic allows me to see which cheeses need to be replenished. Since some reviews here wished that the lid snapped shut, I’ll mention that my cheese box bought in France doesn’t close tightly. (But I wonder if Snips changed the lid some because the one I got in August has a rather snug fit) Also, because a photo of this Snips box shows it with unwrapped cheeses inside, I’ll share that my French friends store their cheeses wrapped.

Full disclosure, I bought this for wrapped cheeses because it was cute and easy to identify in fridge. Also, my wrapped cheeses were becoming too moist in fridge drawer. Container is a nice size and attractive, but lid DOES NOT close/hold TIGHTLY. I accidentally tilted it a bit when removing from fridge shelf and all wrapped cheeses fell out. Lesson learned. Solved the problem with a large heavy duty rubber band. Still like it and no plans to return.

my big chunk of costco cheese fits, howetver not much else can fit..it is bigger than what i thought...i manage to fit it in my crisper. the lid isnt really secure...i probable could have used a regular cheapo tupperware type of container...cheese stays mold free longer than normal in it....i wouldnt gift it...its just not a gift type thing

I like that it keeps my blocks of cheese fresher longer

El plástico con que está hecho es muy rígido y ya se me rompió. Lo pegué y sigo usándolo. La idea me encantó, peroooo, no es un plástico que aguante golpecitos, o presiones

Es de muy buen tamaño y el material no se raya! Puede considerarse caro porque tiene otros sustitutos de menor precio.
