Ordered one at the end of August. Arrived without issue and has been working great, so i decided to add another one to my tent. I've received two this week, one on Monday and one today (Wednesday) and Amazon doesn't seem to be able to get these to consumers in one piece any more. Both arrived with the sameGlass lens shattered into pieces, you could even hear it moving in the box when I picked it up. Amazon is unwilling to help fix the problem in any way except with promotional codes.Again, the light itself is great for a small tent. Each bank of LEDs are dimmable, and the cooling fans while audible outside the tent, are no louder than a clip on fan also in the tent. Viparspectra customer service has been responsive when I messaged about the first light showing up broken, so I'm hoping they can manage to make this second light good and get something to me in one piece. I recommend this light for a small tent, but you may want to order it from somewhere else.

I like everything about it. It worked perfectly. In fact, I am impressed at how well it is built. It's worth every penny! It took me 10 minutes to get it hung up and running with no problems at all. I highly recommend it! In fact, I like it so much I wrote this review which is a rare thing for me. I hardly ever write anything about the things I have bought.

Very bright! Used a meter at floor level and right below the light. Got 6 out of 10 at floor level, 7.5/8 about 3 inches from the light. Really like the daisy chain ability, quietness of the fans with the side discharge, and the bloom/veg separate controls.Update: Sept. 2020 doing good in a 4x5 tent at 11 weeks.

I would give the 5 stars as it has worked very well so far, I gave it a four only because it doesn’t have a built in timer. Everything else is working and worth the investment.

I own 10 viparspectra grow lights. I’ve purchased them all a couple at a time over the past couple years and they work just as well as when I bought them. They’re everything I hoped for. I’ve only had one problem in all that time and when I emailed customer service. A woman named Ruby responded back right away and she was the one who helped me through sending back the light for repair or replacement and getting the light back. I haven’t had that kind of service with a Big company in a long time so not only do they make really great products by they stand behind them. I’ll continue to buy there products and feel good about it.Ron McClellan

Light arrived broken. Amazon said it is a seller item so they will not help on a replacement.I contacted ViparSpctra directly because Amazon has made it IMPOSSIBLE to use messages for buyers to contat sellers! (They have removed the contact link from ALL accounts)ViparSpctra went out of their way to send me a PRE PAID packing slip so I could send back the old broken light and they sent me a BRAND NEW LIGHT!

So far the 1200 w lights we bought seem to be working very well. They’re well made and plenty bright for a smaller grow tent. I have 2 daisy chained in an 8’ by 4’ green house and will probably wind up adding one more. I’m very pleased with the minimal amount of heat they put off and actually have to keep a space heater in the green house to keep the temp where I want it. It has yet to be determined if the 2 we have now will have a high enough par value for a larger canopy but so far so good.
