Moving the select slide to a letter instead of trying to turn a page when you're in a hurry.
Works best for me instead of paper. Use one for addresses and phone numbers in case I loose my phone. One for passwords on computer.

Great Gift for the Older Generations whom are not tech savvy about phone usage
This is a throw back technology for the Silent and Boomer Generation to own and still like to have around. My 75 year old mother-in-law asked me to replace her old one since I couldn't get inserts for the last one she had. She keeps all the main numbers she has as she still has a land line and while she has a cell phone doesn't use it unless its an emergency or while traveling to keep in touch with the rest of the family. She updated her phone records to reflect the loss of family and friends as well as numbers that have also changed. While it has large easy to read letters on the front and each page inside is clean and neatly spaced for handwritten notes including basic info on each part.

Nice & sturdy, better than one I had
I've been buying a different brand (black and silver one) and this one is smoother and the opener is sturdier. It has little rubber pads on the base so it stays stable when using it. The slider works well, you can feel and hear it click at each position as you slide it up and down. The pages are a perfect weight, a little heavier than my prior one - and fit well in the binder clips. Happy with this purchase!

Nostalgic but not practicle for me.
I fell victim to nostalgia when I saw this. I forgot how tedious it is to transfer my contact list on my computer to this cool device.If you are the patient sort I recommend this, if not-like me, then stick with the fond memories of "push button address finder."
