Ade Advanced OpticsMotion Awake RD3-009 Red Dot Reflex Sight for Ruger SR9,SR9C,SR40C,SR40,SR45 Pistol

I ordered the ADE red dot and mount for my Ruger SR9. I was skeptical because of the price. I received the sight and noticed the build quality was as good as any I have handled. I mounted the dovetail mount and red dot. Installation was easy and straight forward. Good instructions. Took the gun to the range and sighted it in easily. I was surprised. After approximately 100 rounds the mount loosened up. I took it home and blue loctited the mount. Took it back to the range and put 100 more rounds through the gun. It held tight and stayed on target. No resetting the optics needed. Well worth the money!!! Have put many more rounds through the gun and am REALLY happy with the mount and optic. Would recommend to anyone at this price. Great value!

Was a complete waste of money, and they won't stand behind it, I'm a gunsmith and I couldn't get it even close to zero, even had a couple gunsmith friends try it and they came up with the same results I did, a foot high and an inch right, I shoot competitively and I needed one for an upcoming event and I missed the match because I didn't have a reliable sight

Learn from my experience. First off the battery is only accessible by taking off the sight. That should be the first concern, because any sight that is moved, requires re-sighting. I turned it on with the push button and cycled through all the various size red dots, cool. I put it on the gun, and it wouldn't power on. After several attempts, I took it back off the gun and took out the battery. I looked it over, reinstalled it and the red Dot worked. Re-installed on gun... The having to take the mount off, and needing to do so with Allen wrenches, still bothered me. It powered on and cycled through all the different sized did, turned it off and decided to keep it. It won't fit just any holster with the sight in. It didn't fit my leather pale holster, not my drop leg holster. It does fit and work well with my blackhawk holster, which was cool, so I'm basically deciding to deal with the battery and hoping it was a long time between batteries. So I'm putting everything away, had put the plastic sight cover on it to protect it while it's not in use. When I picked up the gun, I thought I caught a glimpse of red, so I checked, found that the sight was turned on, apparently the plastic cover pushed in on the power switch turning it on. The battery would probably be dead the next time I went to use it again, and the battery ordeal popped back in my memory, and I decided this want the sight for me. I'm returning it and hoping to move up just a little bit in price and getting a top side battery access, and one with better button placement and maybe auto shut off. I keep a pack of the batteries on hand for my other red dots, so it has to be that same your battery too. Waiting for credit for the return, and trying again. ADE has other red dots that match my requirements as mentioned above, I'm hoping to find a suitable match.

Great item, it is a wonderful upgrade to my SR9, fit perfectly. Give great style and precision, I installed it already, but Im crazy to test it in the range.

Didn't have high hopes but figured the budget option may prevail. No, not at all. Got the plate mounted up and pressed on but i only got 1 round off and the red dot shut off. I tried turning on and off, nothing would get it to turn back on. After a few hours (roughly 6 hours), I attempted to turn it on and some how, the red dot started working again. Legit a waste of money, DO NOT BUY

Nice pistol sight. Compact and easy to install! Mount is a little loose but tightens up nice. Lock tight should be used on the screws. Very impressed for the money.
