Mens Suspenders Very Strong Clips Heavy Duty Braces One Size Fits All Wide Y Shape

For too long I blamed my belts for needing frequent tightening and loosening. Then I faced the fact that my problem was my changing body shape, as I aged. I bought this and a second pair suspenders. I wear them over my shirts; therefore they are visible. They are much more comfortable than the belts. I have worn them for about a week. The clips are holding on well. They have not slipped off my shoulders, as thought they might. I purchased the light blue color and my wife says they go well with many of my shirts. Comments from others have been favorable. I should have changed earlier.

I have owned many pairs of suspenders, been wearing them since I was about 18 years old and I’m 30 now.I wear suspenders daily, I have different suspenders for different tasks. I wanted to try Y suspenders for work.The clips are large and do stick out but less than a set of Carhart suspenders I have. With clips like this you get a superior hold on the pants but it does present the opportunity to hit the clips on things like getting in and out of a car, etc etc. it’s the same with all metal clip suspenders. In my years of hitting clips, a pair of needle nose pliers will fix them right up, I have repaired several sets of suspenders that I bent the clips on doing some task so it’s no big deal to me, the clips not holding is a far greater annoyance.I just got these suspenders tonight. The strap does feel thicker, I really like the length of the straps. For example the Carhartt suspenders I got about a month ago, adjusted to its longest strap setting it pulls up on my pants just a tad too much, but that’s no problem because eventually they will stretch like everything does with elastic. With these suspenders, I have about 8” or so adjustment left, so I can set it less. Idea on my dressy work pants is to keep them from falling down, not be pulled up so hard I’m talking a few octaves higher pitch.I will make these my daily drivers, if they absolutely suck, I’ll change my rating as time goes on. Fraying I suspect might be an issue with these, with how they are made but that will be a long time from now.I took a close up picture of the clip because I didn’t see any pictures where you could make out the “In God We Trust”, honestly I could take that or leave it, doesn’t really make me like the suspenders more but I suppose it makes them look a bit fancier. They must etch that on the suspenders they sell in the USA, I can’t see people in the UK appreciating the eagle.As far as I can see, looks like it’s made in UK as it says in the listing.I would also like to note, I have been wearing suspenders for better part of 15 years almost daily and I have never had a pair fail that I can remember. If I replace them it’s usually because I stretched them out. I carry a lot of things in my pockets, I cut firewood, I mud run ATVs so I give suspenders a workout, they do their jobs well, sometimes they need repaired because of something I did. I have found no reason to think this Y suspenders will be any different, I think they will give me years of service holding up my pants at work without giving that lumberjack look lol. I’m not someone who cares about how people view me but I will try new things and if it works better than what I was doing, I’ll make that the routine. Having a quality Y set of suspenders might be my norm.

Well made and easy to adjust. Holds up my pants very well and they are very stylish.

Keeps my pants up

My husband works outside and is frequently in and out of big trucks. He constantly complained that his suspenders came unclipped in the back getting in and out of the trucks, and the front straps kept slipping off his shoulders. The placement of the single back clip on these suspenders keeps them from coming unclipped most of the time and they stay on his shoulders much better. Since I bought these, he hasn't worn any of his old suspenders again. They don't seem quite as sturdy as his older work suspenders so I will probably have to replace them sooner, but I am just fine with that. They are quite a bit less expensive, and they alleviated a daily aggravation.

I bought another pair of suspenders on Amazon that would continually pop open while I was wearing them…very annoying and can be embarrassing, too. These hold up well! They’re what you need for your tux and more.

wasn't sure of the one strap only for the backside, but was pretty comfortable and works great.actually like the one strap as with the double straps, I have had trouble getting into vehicles and hitting the sides and comes undone.

This is the second pair of these suspenders I have ordered from this same supplier. I LOVE them. Before this, my father struggle with clips that came undone, or flimsy suspenders that didn't support his clothes.Now he has two fashionable pairs of suspenders for different outfits that have strong clasps and easily (and perfectly!) support his pants. Phew.I'll likely purchase more - not because these will wear out - but to give him more fashion choice!

These work great. size works well. I was concerned with the clips but so far they work well and have good grip.
