Yes,the stool can be disassembled. But you'd better prepare a tool such as a hammer. It's a little difficult to disassemble. For your reference.

This is a high quality stool. It can be used for the purpose. It is adjustable, however consider the highest settling will put the stool at the same level as the customer's chair which are typically higher than a regular chain. Obviously if you use the stool for relief from standing, you will have to raise your arms up, to style the customer. It will not be easy to find a stool that is going to put your shoulders at the same height as when you are standing. This would a custom type of stool. you would need a step box to mount and descend a stool that tall.
