This fan is perfect for our Florida Hurricane season as well as any other of our frequent storms. The fan is in a sturdy plastic case with a long cord. The best thing is that it works on batteries and has lasted for over two days! We also take it out to the porch if needed. It is compact enough, and quiet enough, to work well in a bedroom. We plan on ordering a couple more. Oh, just remember to disconnect the cord to activate the battery. The fan will not run on battery power with the cord end plugged into the fan.

This is the third one I bought as a backup for existing ones, which I use when power goes out and when we are under hurricane season in Florida with no electricity. Best of all: pricing, and works with ac/dc plus has connections for cell.

This fan is a nice design, and the perfect size...got it for when power goes out, but wish it could be charged. It is battery or usb operated.

I bought this fan because it's battery operated. In a hurricane we normally lose power, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes for a day. I turned AC off when it was over 100 degrees outside & turned the fan on. It cooled the bedroom adequately. It's light, easy to handle, sturdy.

This fan is held together by hope and faith. The moment it arrived I plugged one in and went to turn it on which is when I found that the slider button might as well be attached with fear and not only does it feel like it may fall off at any second it also does not go all the way up to the "second" speed setting.Waste of money avoid.

Strong construction and easy to access for the batteries and controls. The ability to put a small charge into a mobile phone is a great little feature addition. Sounds like a fan, no excess noise, just it operating. Batteries lasted more than one use and air flow is enough to move the air and cool down anyone near it. Just a nice portable fan!
