I love this bamboo breadbox, but I ordered it from amazon's warehouse returned items and the previous person who bought it cracked the removable shelf and also stripped the screw on the sliding door so it's loose. Frankly I'd rather return it and pay full price because although it said it's in really good condition it's not.

Not 100% bamboo - waferboard laminated to look like bamboo

If the top shelf also a cutting board, please mention that feature!

Really do like this and was easy to assemble and turned out great and very sturdy. Only thing is is the shelf piece was broke in half and one of the tracks was a little broken. Not worth me returning the whole thing and assembling again. I would've liked some sort of partial refund, but that doesn't seem to be an option.

If you are a senior like me and have no one to assemble this dont buy, it comes in god knows how many pieces I returned
