Knife Set, 16-Piece Kitchen Knife Set with Carving Fork, Precious Wengewood Handle for Chef Knife Set with Block, German Stainless Steel, Emo joy

Um so everyone in the house now has a new scar from the first time using these knives and not expecting how they cut literally everything like butter. Guys, I peeled a damn watermelon with these like it was a kiwi. I can slice tomatoes paper thin with these Golden Compass level knives.Only downside is that the wooden handle isn't finished well so the wood fibers have started to stand up a little from being wet. Definitely can never put these in the dish washer.

For the money I wouldn’t think they would break. Other than this I’ve been extremely happy with them. I gave it one star so everyone would know the large knife broke when I pulled open the dishwasher. Only 2 months old! I’m not happy now!I’d attach a picture but there isn’t an option

I just received my Emojoy knife set and I have to say, it was much , much better than I hoped for. My last set was a Henkels and I was extremely disappointed. The Emojoy is not only beautiful in style but so easy to use. Handles are perfectly weighted; blades extremely sharp so be careful. I am so happy with this set, I might just buy an additional one to have when family comes over for dinners so they can help out with preps.

This knife set I purchased SOLEY based on the good reviews. This product was more and better than I imagined. Knives are nice and sharp, but the wood design I was expecting to be cheaper looking and made, and same for the block. The picture makes the knife block look lighter, but it’s not, and I love it. Very nice quality and I don’t regret my decision to purchase.

The set includes everything I could imagine, though I am an amateur at using knives. I believe it would make an excellent first knife set for a couple as a housewarming gift. I bought these as a housewarming gift to myself. So much so that they could easily slice your finger.The handles are beautiful and the knives are heavy to lift. The box even arrives with a large “HEAVY” sticker on it. Proving that the knives and block are indeed quite heavy.I love that the set includes kitchen shears, a sharpening tool, and a carving knife. I feel like you get a lot for a very reasonable price.Each knife has printed writing explaining the dimensions of the knife and what type of knife it is. This is very useful so I don’t have to refer to the instruction manual to figure out which knife is which! (Though it does take away a bit from the aesthetics.)Cons:Not dishwasher safe - hand wash only. Water stains show easily after hand washing on the stainless portion of the knives.The knives don’t all have protective coverings when unwrapping them. Only one of the six steak knives had a protective plastic sheath on the end. I nearly cut myself unwrapping them. (At least they’re sharp!)Several knives arrived with a sticky residue that had to be scrubbed with a bit of elbow grease.The knife block had wood shavings that needed to be wiped off and blew into my face a bit when unwrapping.

This Knife block is an amazing value, The steak knives are large and extremely comfortable in the hand, The Chefs knife and Other large Knives are EXTREMELY Sharp and VERY comfortable in the hand. I recommend Hand Washing these knives to prevent any damage to the blades. This isnt a big deal considering you should always hand wash your knives no matter the brand. Dishwashers are very hard on any Knife finish. I absolutely recommend these knives, For the price you just cannot beat it!

I am absolutely in love with this knife set. The block and the handles of the knives themselves are absolutely gorgeous. The assortment of blades allows you to perform a variety of tasks. The blades are amazingly sharp even after multiple uses. I have zero complaints, and would definitely purchase this knife set as a gift for family and friends, it's that good.

On the whole this was a good set kept its edge although the sharpening steel seems to be softer than the blades as wearing fast after a year. Unfortunately as you can see from the picture I happened to drop one of the knives and the blade broke cleanly in two, pointing to a fault in the heat treatment. I have contacted Emojoy who I must say were very quick to reply requesting a replacement Knife to which they replied they only sell complete sets and offered me $15 compensation which is not sufficient to purchase a replacement of equal quality.
