Not true to size. I ware a size 40 pants, can fit into 38's but I prefer 40's for the loos fit, with some types of pants/shorts I like to go a few sizes up just to make sure I have plenty of mobility. So I went ahead and ordered these in size 42, the took over a week to get here and when they finally arrived, looked nice, just as pictured, but fit like 36's, I was barely able to button the shorts! Not to mention having close to zero mobility! The bag they came in says 42, the tag on the inside says 42, but there is no way these are 42's! Huge disappointment, if it wasn't such a huge pain in the ass I would send them back! But I guess when you buy products made in China, you get what you pay for. If your a small person or very thin, these would prob work out great for you, but if you have build of are a little thicker, you may run into the same problem I did. A-side from all that, they do appear to be of decent construction and the color is as pictured, nice looking pants, just ment for smaller people than myself. Hope that helps, Good luck!

I work in a humid factory with hot steaming machines running all day.Got these for the summer and here is my verdict:Pros:Nice deep front pockets.Excellent breathable fabric.Good craftsmanship especially the expanding waistband for a lot of movement.Cons:- Why put pen slots only on the left thigh?What about right-handed people?- Why put plastic loop on rear right waist side?- Cargo pocket on right leg is useless. It swings everytime I walk and the stuff inside it bangs on table legs and other furnishings.- Flaps on back pockets are also useless and only look funny.

The length is prefect. About an inch below the knee at the normal and comfortable waist line. The fabric has a nice feel, not flimsy, but smooth and a touch of bulk. Fabric is water and dirt repellent. Great belt loops along with an elastic sections on each side in the belt line for comfort. I wear the pants with a belt and it's comfortable and stays put at the waist. The length is perfect in my book, and no baggy cargo pockets so they have a nice look wherever the location for summer wear. These will be my to-go shorts from now on.Plan to purchase another pair. Only wish there were other colors like Navy Blue, Dark Green Brown and Tan. (Hello?)

I sent these back because the waist was too small (even though that size fits in wranglers) - I ordered a size up and they fit okay now! Still waiting on my refund from the ones I sent back!

I just got these pants so I can't give a complete review. I will add to the review later after I've work them for a few months. The button does seem a little bit flimsy, and that is the only thing that I'm worried about. Other than that, they seem pretty good, and feel great. NICE DEEP POCKETS.

my wife bought these as they were "tough" = These tactical ripstop shorts are tough enough for construction work - think of a very heavy canvas soaked in starch and you'd be close to how stiff these are to wear - i am sure they will last forever but after washing a few times and wearing a while the stiff, hard feel just doesn't seem to want to go away - not sure i could wear them multiple days in a row

They are sewn right and are great for fishing all day as you won't get sunburned legs as bad a shorts. Sturdy material too.

Great shorts. Good stitching. Pockets are placed for use with a combat belt. Very stiff when they arrived. Hopefully they will loose some of that after washing a few times.
