popped the mug into the microwave for 30 seconds to heat my sons hot chocolate up smelt burning after 20 seconds opened the microwave to find the cup scalding hot and smoking chocolate still cold cup completely cracked at the bottom and down the side

I would give 0 stars. Washed following the instructions on the back of the box and the transfer is coming off !!!! Seriously disgusted

Awful item, the print fell off within a day. Most importantly, don't put it in the microwave! I suffered VERY severe burns after putting it the microwave for 10 seconds. The manufacturer Pyramid is being investigated by Trading Standards, and they have been instructed to put a 'not microwave safe' warning on the base of all future mugs. They are also being investigated by Nintendo for copyright breach.

Total waste of money. My son was so happy to get this and then utterly distraught an hour later when the stars came off in the diswasher - £11.99 is an unbelievable waste of money. Avoid.
