Oh the Places He Went A story About Dr. Seuss (Creative Minds Biography)

I love this book. It has only 60 pages, but there is a wealth of information about the good doctor and the inspiration behind his books. The writing style is easy to read and the full page illustrations are delightful. I imagine the good doctor standing behind Maryanne Weidt (author) and Kerry Maguire (illustrator) saying 'tweak it a bit here or there; yes, now you've got it!' I came into Dr. Seuss later in life (not during my childhood, but during my children's) and with each book I read, I enjoyed them more. I have to admit, that I was not a fan while a child, but grew into the books - my favorite being 'Oh the Places You Will Go'. I love reading Dr. Seuss books aloud. I never knew Dr. Seuss' own life story, and this small book answers all my questions in the most delightful way. I highly recommend it to anyone - child or adult - who would like to know the background of the famous author.

I bought this for my childs school project. I found it very succinct for a second grader to easily comprehend.

Oh, The Places He Went I highly recommend Oh, The Places He Went for any young or old people who want to learn about the stunningly exciting life of everybody's favorite children's author, Theodor Geisel Seuss. This book explains his life story from young to old. I was doing a school project on a biography or autobiography so I got this book and it helped! This book is a #1 source of information on "Dr. Seuss." What I like about this book is; the book has great drawings and is very easy to understand. What I dislike about the book is that the sketches could be colored.

Força complet. Esperaba una mica més sobre la seva tasca com a escriptor (i algun dibuix d'ell escrivint), no tant com a il·lustador, però en general está molt bé.

Das Buch an sich hält, was es in der Produktbeschreibung verspricht und gefällt mir gut. Leicht verständliche, übersichtliche aber dennoch informative Biografie. Einen Stern Abzug bekommt das Produkt, weil der Versand ewig gedauert hat und ich das Buch wirklich sehr viel später als erwartet erhalten habe.
