SABIAN 13" SBr Hi-Hats

I admit I did not expect too much out of these little guys, being that they are so cheap, but, I must say, I am rather impressed! the click, or "chick" :) if you will, is sound and worthwhile for most functional contexts (likely for all, it is lovely). The sound when the hats are open is remarkable. Overall, I'm happy that I was able to get very good hats for such a cheap price! would recommend for any budget drummer.

I used only one suspended cymbal struck with a felt mallet in combination with the piano in a piece by George Crumb. Its complex overtones with a reasonably long decay created just the right spooky, sinister effect. It is a solid heavy cymbal which is sold as a pair. Excellent value for the modest price of $65.

Great, if your expectations are realistic. I bought this as a birthday present for my 4/5 year old son who plays drums. This, along with a PDP hi-hat stand, is the perfect hi-hat for his mini drum set. This replaces the awful "child's" hi-hat that came with his drumset, so this is a HUGE step up. They would probably be too dark for a full size setup, and for someone who plays out in clubs or other live settings, but they're perfect for me and my son.

These have a pretty tinny sound, but for the price, they work just fine. I'm positive that Sabian usually ships in a box, but these arrived in just a shoddy amazon shipping bag. Rip offs? Not really. You get what you pay for - they do the job for home practice for now!

these hat cymbals sound excellent! especially for the price. they have a higher pitch to them than normal hats since they're 13" instead of the standard 14" hats, they resonate really really well and just have a beautiful brilliant sound to them. definitely worth the buy

This was a gift for my husband, and he definitely, notices the difference.

La calidad de estos contras es muy buena, sin embargo su sonido, considero, está más enfocado para practicar. Llegaron muy bien, sellados y empaquetados.
