Daniel Plays Ball: Ready-to-Read Pre-Level 1 (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood) Paperback – August 26, 2014

Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 min of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. They teach adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. This book is perfect for very young kids as there are short sentences and simple words. It encourages trying, conversation with the adult reader and are very positive. Read it with your child. You might learn something about communicating with little ones. The colors are bright and the images true to the TV show.

Great book! There are definitely some words in here my 5 year old can't read on his own, but many of them are names of daniel tiger characters or come from his songs, so he can figure them out from context clues and that is such an awesome skill to see him develop! This book has definitely encouraged my Daniel Tiger fan to work on his reading skills, and my toddler likes looking at the pictures too, and Id recommend it to any parent of a Daniel Tiger fan!

Got this as a gift for my niece learning to read and she loves it so much. She reads it all the time and it is the perfect length book for little kids to read on their own. Also a very cute story. You can’t go wrong with Daniel Tiger

My 2yr old loves this book and loves Daniel tiger. It's very short and simple (but that's to be expected with ready to read books), but sometimes that's all his little attention span will sit through!

Not a good story like other Daniel books. This books is definitely designed to help children learn to read

Good for Daniel Tiger fans! This book is also good for teaching kids to keep trying and not give up or get mad when something is hard. Love all of the Daniel Tiger books for our little one!

Cute book, arrived quickly. We used this for the Christmas book exchange in my son’s kindergarten class and it was perfect!!

This story is an abbreviated excerpt from an episode of the show. The quality of the book was good. The pages are thick and my toddler hasn't mana to destroy the book! A good purchase!
