Great Grips for an Awesome Price
I bought these for my Remington R1 in Nov, 2011. I was hesitant considering the price but I decided to take a chance and I am super glad that I did. These grips have held up well, look great and have really good feel in the hand. I haven't experienced any discoloration, warping or any other issues you may be worried about with cheaper grips and when I put these on the fitment was fantastic. These paired with my Evolution Gun Works mag well make my 1911 look pretty darn impressive and I have received more than a few copliments on it because of them. Awesome product.

Fairly priced grips
The grips are very well executed and have a nice texture, grippy but not too aggressive. They mounted easily on my frame and are very secure. I like the fact that they are full length and will reach to the bottom of a magwell too. My only bad impression is that they may be too thick for what I am used to. I did not notice the inletting on the left grip that is designed to facilitate the use of the magazine release. I have large and and this should pose no major problems once I get used to them. The dimple patter is very striking and looks really good on my frame. I would not suggest these for people with small hands though as they may interfere with your grip and the use of the magazine release. Otherwise it is a great product.Update - Fit the grips to a SIG 1911 TacOps and it really looks and feels great. As I said earlier the back can be sanded down to give a flatter slimmer profile and feel.

Thick
they made my 1911 feel like a double stack. I bought the deal after this. VZ all the way guys.

Don't expect the best quality
Grips are made in Taiwan. They fit lose on the grip bushings. For the price they aren't that bad, but if you expect quality save your money and buy a good pair of machined grips - these are molded plastic.

Just ok for the money
I recently picked these up for my RIA Tactical as a temporary fix. It is getting a Duracoat job and matching VZ's but needed better grips for the time being. That being said, they aren't terrible grips for $20. They're not as nice as the VZ's on my Springfield but they were also less than 1/3rd of the cost. So far they fit pretty well and look decent. I wish they weren't polymer, but that's why they are cheap.Pros-Cheap-Look good-Seem durable (I will update it after some good abuse)-Upgrade from stock grips on most gunsCons-Very thick-Some rough finishing in areas

And the bigest part, the price is fantastic as far as 1911 grips. You will love them if you try it. Thanks Strike Industries and Amazon for fast del....

Nice, inexpensive grips
I bought these grips to try out for my 1911 and as soon as I put them on I decided they are keepers. They fit great, look good and have excellent traction. Unless I don't like them when I go to the range they'll be staying on my gun for a long time.

Nice grip for price, took a little trimming
Overall, this is a very nice grip for my 1911, with the texture adding grip and the design adding to the appearance. Only downside was my 1911 has ambi-safety, and though it is cut for it, it did take a little bit of time of working on it to operate fully. I did contact the seller about this and they advised to send it back and they would refund my money, but it wasnt difficult to modify so I wasn't too concerned about it. I would like to see this pattern in a slimline version as this grip is better suited for larger hands. For the price, it was hard to beat, and the aesthetic advancement made was well worth it.
