Metra95-7522B Double DIN Dash Installation Kit for Select Mazda CX-5 2012-UP Vehicles

Its fits well in my 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. Only thing is, I wish Metra would make it so that the head unit pops out a little more. With this dash kit, it kind of makes your stereo feel like its sinking into the dash. I think a combination of dash kit and car dash design flaw. It fits though.

I purchased this dash install kit to use with an aftermarket head unit that I was installing in my wife's Mazda CX-5. It works for this application and fits where the factory unit was installed.Pros:1. Seems to match plastic texture that is in car, which is great2. Instructions are pretty good and extra parts came with the kit that mean you don't necessarily have to salvage what was in your original car (mainly clips)Cons (and why I am giving 4 stars):1. The screw holes are not labeled that well and the plastic that holds the screws on the sides is a bit flimsy2. There is just a tiny gap on the bottom of the head unit after installation. I am not sure if this is because of the head unit or this install kit, but it seems like they made it slightly larger to make sure all double-din units will fit. It's not a big deal and in our installation, you can't see the gap since you are looking at the unit from a little higher up

I purchased this kit for my son's Mazda 6. He installed a new head unit and there was a large gap between the radio and the dash trim. This kit not only filled the gap perfectly but it made the head unit more secure in its mounting. It looks like an OEM installation now!

Anybody with a Mazda CX5 thinking about getting a double-din unit with Navigation or just media center this is a MUST. Finish is great and as always amazon makes it even better.
